Eligibility for HJGT Girls 13 & Under Division

Girls age 13 and under are eligible to participate in the HJGT Girls U13 division. A player’s age division is determined by their age during round two. A player may move up during the middle of the season. As an example, if a player is 13 and turns 14 during the middle of the season, she will play the remainder of the season from the 14-18 division. Points do not roll over to another division. Players will be permitted to earn points in two age divisions.

In the 13 & Under division, if there is only one player in the field, then she will be moved up one division automatically.

Shewchuk posted rounds of 88 and 42 to finish at +23 (130), separating herself from the field through consistent shot-making and composure on Saddlebrook’s demanding Oak and Cypress layouts. Her steady play across both days reflected poise beyond her years, earning her a well-deserved victory in her HJGT appearance. Fernanda Flores of Orlando, Florida, finished runner-up at +38 (145), showing determination and progress throughout the weekend. Shewchuk’s victory capped a strong international showing across the weekend, underscoring the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour’s reputation as a global stage for emerging talent and next-generation competitors.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The Nashville Winter Junior Open, hosted by the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour at Hermitage Golf Club, saw Allister Amedio of Mokena, Illinois, capture the Girls U13 Division title with a composed two-day total of +22 (166). Amedio turned in back-to-back rounds of 83–83, demonstrating impressive consistency and poise throughout the weekend. Her confident ball striking and ability to handle Hermitage’s firm fairways and brisk winds set her apart from the field. Bayley Dunn of Louisville, Kentucky, finished runner-up at +27 (171) after a solid opening-round 82, while Lily Quintero of Clarksville, Tennessee, took third at +43 (187).
