About The Hurricane Cup

This exclusive invitational event will showcase the best players from all over the country and world. With 100 players total this will be the battle of the North verse the South. Compete against the TOP players of the HJGT and win your chance at being crowned the Hurricane Cup Champion.

How To Qualify

On November 1st, 2023 the Top points earners in each division and each represented states will be selected. There are 50 spots per team.

Boys 16-18: Top 10 point earners
Boys 14-15: Top 10 point earners
Boys 11-13: Top 10 point earners
Boys U10: Top 5 point earners
Girls 14-18: Top 10 point earners
Girls U13: Top 5 point earners

North: CT, DE, IA, ID, IL, IN, KS, KY, MA, MD, ME, MI, MN, MO, MT, ND, NE, NH, NJ, NY, OH, OR, PA, RI, SD, VA, VT,  WA, WI, WV, WY
‍South: AK, AL, AR, AZ, CA, CO, FL, GA, LA, NC, NM, NV, OK, SC, TN, TX, UT

Tournament Format

The Hurricane Cup will consist of three days and 54 holes of regular stroke play. The Top 10 lowest scores from each team will be counted on both days. The lowest combined total after day 2 will win the 2024 Hurricane Cup! We will also award the Top 3 players in each division. This tournament will be ranked by the Junior Golf Scoreboard.
