Player Spotlight: Théo Desroches

Theo Desroches from Saint-Sauveur, Québec, Canada was the first-place finisher of the College Prep Series at Vanderbilt back in late-February. In fact, that was his second year in a row winning that event. Desroches has finished top-10 in each of his first three HJGT events in 2024 and will be competing in this weekend’s upcoming College Prep Series at Louisville.

Right now, Theo is very much in the HJGT 16-18 Boys Player of the Year race. His scoring average of 76.86 is good for 4th-best among qualifying players in his division. You could make the argument that Desroches is among the most consistent golfers in his division right now, as he ranks second in Par percentage (55.56%) and fourth in birdie percentage (12.70%).

Théo Desroches won the College Prep Series at Vanderbilt with scores of 73 and 72, giving him a combined total of 145 strokes.
