Jakob is from Toronto, Canada and is currently a freshman at Chestnut Hill College. He began participating in the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour in 2017, and one of his first HJGT competitive tournaments was the Sarasota Junior Classic. Since then, he played for the tour in 2018, and became a member in 2018 as well. In the Orlando Junior Shootout, he shot a 140. That display shaved off 16 strokes from his first event with HJGT. Since then, Jakob was playing golf competitively mostly across the state of Florida and had won a few awards along the way. This includes his first-place finish in the Orlando Junior Shootout.
Because of Jakob’s success and his ability to improve his performance over his career, he has earned the opportunity to compete at the collegiate level.
