The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour Alumni Spotlight is proud to feature FAU golfer, Makenna Brown.
Prior to her collegiate golf career, Makenna participated in several tournaments with the HJGT, playing as a member in 2017.
Makenna’s first event on tour was in 2017 at the Canton Junior Classic, followed by the Major Championship at Trophy Club just a week later. Finishing T-3rd and T-2nd, respectively. In her next three events, The Major Championship at Birdsfoot, The Columbus Junior Open, and the Midwest Regional Invitational, Makenna finished in 10th, T-6th, and 7th place. Â Her last tournament of the season was the College Prep Series at Kent State that ended with a 5th place finish.
Makenna is now a freshman at Florida Atlantic University, where she is pursuing her dream of playing professional golf.
