Eligibility for HJGT Boys 10-11

Boys 10-11 are eligible to participate in the HJGT Boys 10-11 division. A player’s age division is determined by his or her age during round two. A player may move up during the middle of the season. For example, if a player is 11 and turns 12 in the middle of the season, they will play the remainder of the season in the 12-13 division. Points do not roll over to another division. Players are able to earn points in two age divisions.

In the Boys 10-11 division, if there is only one player on the field, that player will be moved up one division automatically.

Major Championship at Seaview

Seaview Marriott Golf Resort
Seaview Marriott Golf Resort | November 1–2, 2025 In a weekend that tested patience, precision, and poise, Ethan Gregory of Short Hills, NJ, emerged as the clear champion in the Boys 10–11 Division at the Major Championship at Seaview. Gregory showcased impressive maturity and consistency across two rounds, posting scores of 78 and 77 to finish at +13 (155) — five strokes clear of the field. Gregory’s performance was defined by calm execution and steady control, especially during Sunday’s closing round on Seaview’s storied Bay Course. While gusty winds and tight pin placements forced others into mistakes, Gregory managed the elements beautifully, stringing together key pars and avoiding the kind of double bogeys that can quickly unravel a young player’s round. His back-to-back sub-80 rounds underscored a composure far beyond his years and earned him a well-deserved Major Championship title. Runner-up honors went to fellow Short Hills native Kabir Bhatia, who posted rounds of 84 and 76 to finish at +18 (160). Bhatia’s second-round 76 was the lowest score of the day and showed just how quickly momentum can shift when confidence takes over. His Sunday surge turned the final round into a compelling battle between hometown competitors. Baylor Keim of Blue Bell, PA, finished close behind in third with rounds of 83–78 (161, +19), continuing his strong fall season with another top finish on a challenging layout. Rounding out the top five were Fraser Gannon (Doylestown, PA) and Cameron Persons (Collegeville, PA), both of whom displayed resilience throughout the weekend’s demanding conditions. For Gregory, the weekend was more than just a win—it was a statement. On one of the most challenging courses on the Hurricane Tour schedule, he delivered two rounds of controlled, championship golf and proved himself as one of the premier rising players in his age group.

New Sandy Burr Country Club
New Sandy Burr Country Club | November 1–2, 2025 In one of the standout performances of the Boston Fall Finale, Hunter Murray of Wellesley, MA, delivered a dominant showing to claim the Boys 10–11 Division title at New Sandy Burr Country Club. Murray’s consistency and composure over two days of competition earned him a wire-to-wire victory, finishing with an impressive 151 (+7) after rounds of 77 and 74. Playing on a course that demands precision off the tee and smart decisions around its fast greens, Murray’s steady control and mature approach stood out. His second-round 74 (+2) was one of the best scores of the entire event—across all divisions—and reflected a calm mastery of the moment. With a confident putting stroke and steady rhythm, he turned Sandy Burr’s demanding layout into a showcase of elite junior golf execution. Aston Eaton-Cabral of Boston, MA, finished runner-up at +101 (245) after improving significantly in round two, while Liam Borchers of Framingham, MA, placed third at +127 (271), demonstrating perseverance and determination through the challenging weekend conditions. For Murray, this victory was more than just a win—it was a statement performance that capped off the fall season in style. His ability to stay composed, adapt to the conditions, and close out rounds under pressure reflected the true essence of the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour (HJGT): developing champions through competition, character, and consistency. At Sandy Burr, where precision and patience define success, Hunter Murray proved he had both—and walked away as the clear champion of the Boston Fall Finale.
