Northeast Season Finale at Rock Manor
WILMINGTON, Del. – The Northeast Season Finale at Rock Manor, hosted by the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour, brought the curtain down on another exciting year of competition in the region, as junior golfers from across the Northeast battled brisk November winds and demanding greens at Rock Manor Golf Club on November 8–9, 2025. The two-day event showcased determination, composure, and competitive excellence across every division, closing the season with a display worthy of its name.
In the Boys 16–18 Division, Joseph Kelly of Wilmington, Delaware, captured the title with a steady, home-course performance, posting rounds of 72 and 74 to finish at +4 (146). Kelly’s precision and calm under pressure helped him edge out Declan Conner of Swarthmore, Pennsylvania, and Luke Farnese of Lafayette Hill, Pennsylvania, who both finished just one shot back at +5 (147). Conner’s final-round 70 was the lowest of the weekend, while Kelly’s consistency on the greens sealed the win and capped a memorable home victory.
The Boys 14–15 Division produced another nail-biter as Quinten Joiner of Millington, Maryland, edged Jake Yerkes of Wyncote, Pennsylvania, by a single stroke to claim the top spot. Joiner opened with a sharp 70 and followed with a 74 to finish at +2 (144), while Yerkes made a late charge with a one-under 70 on Sunday to finish at +3 (145). Both players displayed elite-level poise, with Joiner’s steadiness in the closing holes making the difference. Lucas Solano of Vineland, New Jersey, finished third at +7 (149) in another strong showing.
In the Boys 12–13 Division, Timothy Gardiner of Chevy Chase, Maryland, delivered one of the weekend’s most composed performances, firing back-to-back rounds of 79–79 to finish at +16 (158). His steady tempo and control through Rock Manor’s challenging greens helped him secure a three-shot victory over Chase Rebore of Bayport, New York (+19, 161), while Preston Minio of Lansdale, Pennsylvania, followed close behind at +20 (162).
The Boys 10–11 Division was led wire-to-wire by Ben Adkins of Lewes, Delaware, who took home the title with rounds of 76 and 88, finishing at +22 (164). Adkins’ opening round set the tone early, and he managed the Sunday winds with maturity to claim a comfortable win over Alex Cheng of Wilmington, Delaware (+35, 177).
On the girls’ side, Giulia Weisser of Reading, Pennsylvania, put together two solid rounds of 78 and 79 to win the Girls 14–18 Division at +15 (157). Weisser’s steady play across both days gave her control of the leaderboard as she pulled away from Reagan Wilson of Kennett Square, Pennsylvania (+22, 164) and Megan Choi of Penn Valley, Pennsylvania (+24, 166). Her disciplined approach and sharp ball striking proved key in securing her first HJGT title of the season.
Rounding out the weekend, the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour’s Northeast Season Finale once again underscored the tour’s growing presence and competitive depth in the region. From Kelly’s home-course victory to Weisser’s dominant finish, the event highlighted the skill, sportsmanship, and dedication of junior golfers from across multiple states. As another successful Northeast season came to a close, Rock Manor served as the perfect stage for young athletes to finish the year with pride and momentum heading into 2026.
