Hurricane Junior Golf Tour hosted the Pittsburgh Summer Junior Open at Quicksilver this past weekend, July 16-17, at Quicksilver Golf Club. The tournament was made up of a 36-hole format with a field of 3 divisions that included the Boys 16-18 Division, Boys 14-15, Division, and Girls 14-18 Division.
Taorui Jia from Shanghai, China was the first-place finisher this weekend. Jia brought in scores of 70 and 73 for a weekend total of 143. Marcos Lopez from Harmony, PA finished in second place with scores of 70 and 76 for a weekend total of 146. Sam Bishop from Bridgeville, PA finished in third place with scores of 74 and 75 for a weekend total of 149.
Trey Susa from Windemere, FL was the first-place finisher this weekend. Susa brought in scores of 74 and 75 for a weekend total of 149. Ethan Bobonski from Clinton, PA finished in second place with scores of 79 and 78 for a weekend total of 157. Wesley Dunlap from Johnstown, PA and Henry Manciu from Canonsburg, PA finished tied for third place. Dunlap brought in scores of 79 and 80, while Manciu carded rounds of 80 and 79 both finishing the weekend with a total of 159.
JoJo Jaskulski from Washington, PA was the first-place finisher this weekend. Jaskulski brought in scores of 77 and 77 for a weekend total of 154. Pearl Lundgren from Moon Twp, PA finished in second place with scores of 81 and 77 for a weekend total of 158. Riley Kontul from Mars, PA finished in third place with scores of 83 and 85 for a weekend total of 168.
