Ryan Oates
Business Development Associate
Ryan Oates joined Hurricane Junior Golf Tour full-time in May of 2025 after completing two internships with the organization in Fall 2024 and Spring 2025. Born in England and raised in Pensacola, Florida, Ryan earned a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a focus on Information Systems from San Diego State University. His time as an intern allowed him to explore his passion for sports and technology in a hands-on environment, ultimately leading to a permanent role with the tour. Prior to joining HJGT, Ryan served for eight years in the United States Navy, where he developed strong leadership and operational skills. Outside of work, he enjoys playing golf, surfing, playing soccer, and spending time with family, friends, and his dog.
