Hurricane Junior Golf Tour hosted Champions Gate Summer Junior Open this past weekend, June 14-15, at Champions Gate Golf Resort. The tournament was made up of a 36-hole format with a field of 6 divisions that included the Boys 16-18 Division, Boys 14-15, Division, Boys 12-13 Division, Boys 10-11 Division, Girls 14-18 Division, and Girls U13 Division.
Zoravar Randhawa from Gurgoan, India claimed first place this weekend with rounds of 67 and 70, finishing with a total score of 137. Espn Pool from St. Cloud, FL finished in second place with scores of 73 and 74 for a weekend total of 147. Rory Sheahan from Garrett Park, MD and Akhmetzhan Tagashev from Howey-In-The-Hills, FL both finished tied for third place. Sheahan posted scores of 76 and 72, while Tagashev posted scores of 77 and 71, both finishing the weekend with total scores of 148.
Rikuto Goto from Kagoshima, Japan was the first-place finisher this weekend. Goto brought in scores of 76 and 72 for a weekend total of 148. Drew Thompson from Cleveland, TN finished in second place with scores of 78 and 79 for a weekend total of 157. Peter Sirianni from Winter Park FL finished in third place with scores of 87 and 76 for a combined total of 163.
Gerald Emerson from Pilar, Argentina was the first-place finisher this weekend. Emerson brought in scores of 77 and 81 for a combined total of 158 for the weekend. Vivaan Sachdeva from Delhi, India was the runner up for the weekend with scores of 89 and 91 for a combined total of 180. Braden Ervin from St. Augustine, FL finished in third place with scores of 88 and 95 for a weekend total of 183.
Maria Julia Mler y Teran from Queretaro, Mexico was the first-place finisher this weekend with scores of 82 and 75 for a weekend total of 157. Erika Suzuki from Tokyo, Japan was the runner up this weekend with scores of 84 and 74 for a combined total of 158. Chien- Ying Lee from Taiwan was the third-place finisher this weekend with scores of 85 and 83 for a weekend total of 168.
