Hurricane Junior Golf Tour hosted Ballyowen Junior Open this past weekend, June 7th-June 8th, at Ballyowen Golf Club. The tournament was made up of a 36-hole format with a field of 5 divisions that included the Boys 16-18 Division, Boys 14-15, Division, Boys 12-13 Division, Boys 10-11 Division, and Girls 14-18 Division.
Brendan Bell Jr. from Dickson City, PA was the first place finisher for the weekend. Bell brought in scores of 73 and 70 for a weekend total of 143 strokes. Mark Capparelli from Berkeley Heights, NJ was the runner up for the weekend with scores of 76 and 72 for a weekend total of 148 strokes. Rounding out the top three honors was Jake Todaro from Scotch Plains, NJ. Todaro finished with scores of 72 and 78 for a weekend total of 150 strokes.
Sebastian Meyer from South Abington Township, PA was the first place finisher for the weekend. Meyer finished with scores of 76 both days for a combined total of 152 strokes. Stephen Hartenfels from Garnervile, NY and Ryan Mascali from Rye, NY both tied for the runner up honors with scores of 154 strokes for the weekend.
Chase Rebore from Bayport, NY was the first place finisher this weekend after securing his viceroy in a playoff. Rebore finished the weekend with scores of 79 and 78 for a weekend finish of 157 strokes. YoungJoo Bahn from Demarest, NJ was the runner up for the weekend with scores of 82 and an impressive 75 for a weekend total of 157 strokes. Rounding out the top three honors was Ryan Totte from Falls Church, VA. Totte finished with scores of 77 and 81 for a combined total of 158 strokes.
Luke McKenna from Pearl River, NY was the first place finisher for the weekend. McKenna brought in scores of 78 both days totaling 156 strokes for the weekend. Ethan Gregory from Short Hills, NJ was the runner up this weekend with scores of 82 and 84 for a weekend total of 166 strokes. Rounding out the top three honors was Lucas Miguel Garcia from Cedar Knolls, NJ. Garcia finished with scores of 88 and 81 for a weekend total of 169 strokes.
Nina Dahl from New York, NY was the first place finisher for the weekend. Dahl brought in scores of 79 and 80 for a weekend total of 159 strokes. Nicole Li from Scarsdale, NY finished the weekend with scores of 79 and 86 totally 165 strokes for the weekend. Rounding out the top three honors was Blake Zarkowsky from Purchase, NY. Zarkowsky finished with scores of 89 and 83 for a combined total of 172 strokes.
