The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour brought the heat to Western Massachusetts over the weekend of May 10–11, as elite junior golfers teed off in the Massachusetts Junior Open at the stunning Ranch Golf Club. With 36 holes of fierce competition and championship-caliber course conditions, the event showcased rising stars across four highly competitive divisions: Boys 16–18, Boys 14–15, Boys 12–13, and Girls 14–18.
Jacob Carlson from Chelmsford, MA was the first-place finisher this weekend. Carlson brought in scores of 74 and 76 for a combined total of 150 for the weekend. Charlie Soldau from Bedford, NH was the runner up for the weekend with scores of 81 and 78 for a combined total of 159. Kyle Fusco from Rocky Point, NY, finished in a tie for third place with scores of 78 and 88 for a weekend total of 166. Elijah La Tour from Tariffville, CT was also tied for third place with scores of 81 and 85 for a weekend total of 166.
Kailer Louangxay from Ridgefield, CT was the first-place finisher this weekend. Louangxay brought in scores of 90 and 81 for a combined total of 171 for the weekend. Blake Waidlich from Keene,NH was the runner up for the weekend with scores of 90 and 84 for a combined total of 174. Luke, Nguyen from Braintree, MA finished the top three honors with scores of 88 and 88 for a weekend total of 176.
Thomas Sullivan from Watertown, CT was the first-place finisher this weekend. Sullivan brought in scores of 86 and 83 for a combined total of 169 for the weekend. Benjamin Sweeney from New Milford, CT was the runner up for the weekend with scores of 94 and 87 for a combined total of 181.
Jessie Jin from Chestnut Hill, MA was the first-place finisher this weekend. Jin brought in scores of 86 and 85 for a combined total of 171 for the weekend. Rory Herrick from Fiskdale, MA finished second place for the weekend with scores of 91 and 87 for a combined total of 178.
