The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour made its mark in the Bluegrass State
with the Kentucky Junior Open, held April 19–20, 2025, at Kearney Hills Golf Links. Junior golfers came ready to compete and conquer, putting on an impressive display of talent and sportsmanship across seven divisions: Boys 16–18, Boys 14–15, Boys 12–13, Boys 10–11, Girls 14–18, and Girls U13.
Jackson Quinn of Leesburg, VA, finished in first place with a standout score of 143 strokes, posting rounds of 75 on Day 1 and 68 on Day 2. Evan Hovde of Daniel Island, SC, finished second with a total of 145 strokes, while Clay Noble of Lexington, KY, secured third with rounds of 76 and 72, totaling 148 strokes.
Ashton Gordon of Lexington, KY, dominated the division with an impressive Day 2 score of 67,
finishing with 142 strokes overall. Anderson Lang, also of Lexington, followed in second with 156
strokes, and William DeCamillis of Louisville, KY, tied for third with 162 strokes.
Max Sutton of Lexington, KY, earned the top spot with rounds of 84 and 80, totaling 164 strokes. Jett Hogan, also from Lexington, placed second with a total of 207 strokes.
Redick Johnson of Elizabethtown, KY, claimed first place with a score of 175 strokes, followed closely by Caleb Queen of Lexington, KY, who finished with 176 strokes.
Haley Federspiel of Richmond, KY, finished in first place with rounds of 80 and 84 for a total of 164
strokes, tying with Myra Sealey of Noblesville, IN. Federspiel secured the win by tiebreaker. Presley
White, also from Noblesville, followed just behind with a total of 165 strokes.
Saanvi Aravantagi of Bowling Green, KY, captured first place with scores of 99 on Day 1 and 95 on Day 2, totaling 194 strokes. Avery Almy of Lexington, KY, finished second with 197 strokes.
