The PB Dye Golf Club Junior Open came to an exciting close after a competitive weekend of junior golf held from April 12-13, 2025. Held at the picturesque P B Dye Golf Club, the tournament welcomed talented junior golfers who showcased determination, composure, and heart over two thrilling days on the course.
Jason Park from Fulton, MD, finished in first place after a dramatic playoff, following rounds of 77 on Day 1 and 78 on Day 2, totaling 155 strokes. David Patrylo of La Plata, MD, matched him stroke-for-stroke with identical rounds of 77 and 78, finishing second after the playoff. Rory Sheehan from Garrett Park, MD, placed third with rounds of 77 and 79, ending the weekend with a total of 156
strokes.
Anthony Patton from Springfield, VA, finished in first place, scoring 81 on Day 1 and 80 on Day 2 for a
total of 161 strokes. Cooper Moskowitz of Middletown, MD, followed closely behind in second place
with rounds of 86 and 77, totaling 163. Ty Swann from Gambrills, MD, claimed third with a total of 166
after posting rounds of 87 and 79
Leela Kenwood from Bethesda, MD, delivered rounds of 91 on Day 1 and 86 on Day 2 to finish in first
place with 177 strokes. Ainsley Kovarik of Washington, DC, took second place with rounds of 92 and 96,
finishing with 188 strokes. Nicol Chovanec from Severna Park, MD, placed third with 92 on Day 1 and
97 on Day 2 for a total of 189 strokes.
Mattie Weeks from Woodbine, MD, finished in first place, posting a 103 on Day 1 and a 97 on Day 2, for
a final score of 200 strokes. Adelaide Farvolden of Towson, MD, secured second place with rounds of
105 and 116, totaling 221 strokes.
