The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour delivered another action-packed weekend
at the Cleveland Junior Open, held April 5-6, 2025, at the Signature of Solon in Solon, Ohio. Junior golfers from across the region brought determination and flair to the course, competing across six divisions with drive, focus, and plenty of memorable moments.
Trent Riedel of Medina, OH finished in first place with rounds of 75 on Day 1 and 76 on Day 2, totaling 151 strokes. Donald McDougal of Ashburn, VA secured second place with a score of 74 on Day 1 and 78 on Day 2, finishing with 152 strokes. Alexander Eckstein of Poland, OH earned a tie for third, carding 69 on Day 1 and 84 on Day 2 for a weekend total of 153 strokes.
Eli Perng of St. Davids, Ontario, Canada finished in first place with rounds of 85 on Day 1 and 76 on Day 2, totaling 161 strokes. Brady Bilkey of Williamsville, NY finished second with scores of 82 and 84, rounding out the weekend with 166 strokes.
Agampratap Kanwar of Hudson, OH finished in first place after posting rounds of 82 on Day 1 and 83 on
Day 2, giving him 165 strokes overall. Victor Lane of Twinsburg, OH followed in second place with
rounds of 97 and 93, for a final total of 190 strokes.
Cora Hirz of Fairview, PA finished in first place with scores of 74 on Day 1 and 83 on Day 2, ending with 157 strokes. Yumi Kohara of Cuyahoga Falls, OH took second place with rounds of 84 and 95, totaling 179 strokes. Addison Williams of Bristolville, OH came in third with rounds of 96 and 86, finishing with 182 strokes.
