Junior golfers took to the scenic Golden Bear Golf Course for the Hilton Head Junior Open, hosted by the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour from April 5-6, 2025. Across all divisions, players displayed sharp skills and unshakable determination, giving the spectators a weekend to remember on the Carolina coast.
Briggs Winfree of Anchorage, AK finished in first place after carding a sizzling 73 on Day 1 and following up with a 73 on Day 2 for a total of 146 strokes. Henry Ashley of Granger, IN secured second place with consistent rounds of 69 and 77, totaling 146 strokes. Alberto Aguilar of Cartago, Costa Rica placed
third with rounds of 73 and 74, finishing at 147 strokes.
Mathis Mandeville of Myrtle Beach, SC finished in first place with scores of 80 on both Day 1 and Day
2, totaling 160 strokes. Jenner Gambill of Clarksville, OH came in second with rounds of 85 and 79,
finishing at 164 strokes. Blake Thomas of Lexington, KY took third place with rounds of 91 and 79 for a
total of 170 strokes.​
Josiah (Jo) Hardee of Johns Creek, GA finished in first place with rounds of 83 on Day 1 and 86 on Day 2, totaling 169 strokes. Ethan Jorgensen of Huntersville, NC took second place with rounds of 86 and 85,
finishing at 171 strokes. Prithvi Patel of Lexington, SC rounded out the top three with scores of 86 and 87
for a final total of 173 strokes.
Jayce Archer of Moncks Corner, SC finished in first place with rounds of 81 on Day 1 and 80 on Day 2,
totaling 161 strokes. Caleb Queen of Lexington, KY came in second with rounds of 82 and 87, finishing
at 169 strokes. Cruz Carpenter of Las Vegas, NV placed third with scores of 95 and 83 for a total of 178
strokes.
Jessica Stine of Tampa, FL finished in first place with rounds of 80 on Day 1 and 79 on Day 2, totaling
159 strokes. Rachawadee Srimaung of Bangkok, Thailand followed closely behind in second with scores
of 85 and 76, finishing at 161 strokes. Diana Gao of Foshan, China took third place with rounds of 84 and
78, totaling 162 strokes.
