Junior golfers brought fierce competition and positive energy to the rolling fairways of Bulle Rock Golf Club during the Bulle Rock Junior Open, held March 29–30, 2025. With the sun shining and spirits high, players across six age divisions put on an impressive display of skill, heart, and resilience throughout the weekend.
Nicolas Gaughan of West Chester, PA, finished in first place with consistent rounds of 75 on Day 1 and
73 on Day 2, for a tournament total of 148 strokes. Just one stroke behind, Jackson Geyer of Havre de
Grace, MD, and David Patrylo of La Plata, MD, tied for second place, each finishing with 149 strokes.
Geyer shot 74 and 75, while Patrylo scored 73 and 76.
Ty Swann of Gambrills, MD, rose to the top, finishing in first place with scores of 79 on Day 1 and 77 on
Day 2, for a total of 156 strokes. Aman De Silva of Bethesda, MD, followed in second place with rounds
of 79 and 81, totaling 160 strokes. Leo “Lion” Zelaya of Derwood NLG, MD, took third with rounds of
84 and 77, finishing with 161 strokes.
Ryan Kirkbride of Glen Burnie, MD, finished in first place with rounds of 78 and 82, tallying 160 strokes
over two days. Logan Gwiz of Woodbridge, VA, finished second with rounds of 92 and 80, for a total of
172 strokes.
Meredith Finger of Wilmington, DE, delivered a standout performance to finish in first place with rounds of 89 on Day 1 and an impressive 72 on Day 2, for a total of 161 strokes. Kacy Day of Bel Air, MD,
followed closely with scores of 84 and 78, totaling 162 strokes. Leela Kenwood of Bethesda, MD, rounded out the top three with rounds of 80 and 83, finishing with 163 strokes.
