The HJGT is proud to announce the completion of the Fall 2013 schedule for release. This Fall the HJGT will be touching down at numerous venues both new and old. The HJGT is always looking for ways to improve the tour and add new and exciting features. Some new additions to vest your interest in this season are the Hurricane Cup, Post Season Series, Nike Series, and new venues. The Hurricane Cup will take place November 30-December 1 and is comprised of 9 total teams broken down by the states in which the HJGT plays their events (Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Alabama, Kentucky, Tennessee, Ohio) and an international/other states team. Each team will be made up of four boys and four girls from the 15-18 divisions as well as two boys and two girls from the 11-14 divisions. Tour members who have earned the most points throughout the 2013 season will be selected to play and represent their state. Players can begin to accumulate points at the very first event on the 2013 schedule and the race will end the weekend of November 16-17. Another addition this fall is the Post Season Series. Once the Hurricane Cup race ends November 16-17 the HJGT will host
three events that following weekend of November 23-24. The postseason events will be held at Palmetto Dunes, Bonaventure, and Bradshaw Farms, players will compete in a point race where top finishers will receive enticing gifts and awards. The HJGT is still in the process of compiling the Post Season Series gift packages so stay tuned for further details. The final two Nike Cup Series venues have been named and those events will take place September 7-8, and September 21-22. Top point earners from the 8 Nike Cup Series Events will be selected to participate in the Nike Tour Cup Finale, the final Nike Cup Event . From the boy's 15-18 age division the top 7 leaders in points will be invited to play in the final cup event and from the girl's 15-18 divisions the top 4 will be invited. From the boy's 11-14 age divisions the top 7 point earners will be invited, and from the girl's 11-14 age division the top 2 point earners will be invited to the Nike Tour Cup Finale. This fall will feature 3 major championships. Each major championship will be a high stake event and play a vital role towards
sealing a spot on the Hurricane Cup roster. For Major events points are doubled from the norm and spread out to the top 20 finishers, rather than the top 10. In addition players are allowed to have their own personal caddie. The majors will be held at Pebble Creek, Timber Creek, and Bear Trace. As was previously mentioned the HJGT will be visiting both new and old venues this season. The HJGT will be returning to Champions Gate for the fourth year and is excited to duplicate their name onto the 2013 Fall schedule after three successful years in a row. For the Tour Championship Invitational this season the HJGT will be inviting the top 207 golfers from the season to play in this two day event. Set to take place December 7-8 the event will be held at the National and International Champions Gate courses. On the other end of the spectrum the HJGT will be stopping off in new locations such as the Cardinal Club at Louisville, and Elks Run in Cincinnati.
