From November 12-13, 2022, the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour held the Winter Garden Junior Open at OCN. The tournament was made up of a 36-hole format with a field of four divisions that included the Boys 16-18 Division, Boys 14-15 Division, Boys 11-13 Division, Boys Under 10 Division, Girls 14-18 Division, and Girls Under 13 Division.
Boys 16-18

Thomas Young from Center Valley, PA was the first-place finisher this weekend. Young brought in scores of 70 and 68 for a combined total of 138 for the weekend. Ligang Li from Shenzhen, China was tied for the second place spot this weekend with scores of 70 and 71 for a combined total of 141. Zhengyi (Louie) Liu from Bradenton, FL tied for secong with scores of 69 and 72 for a weekend total of 141.
Boys 14-15

Konner Kubica from Lutz, FL was the first-place finisher this weekend. Kubica brought in scores of 77 and 77 for a combined total of 154 for the weekend. Tien Do from Tampa, FL was the runner up for the weekend with scores of 75 and 80 for a combined total of 155. Miguel Angel Gomez from Ciudad de Mexico, Mexico finished the top three honors with scores of 76 and 80 for a weekend total of 156.
Boys 11-13

Shane Frasure from Clermont, FL was the first-place finisher this weekend. Frasure brought in scores of 75 and 70for a combined total of 145 for the weekend. Giancarlo Aguirre from Lima, Peru was the runner up for the weekend with scores of 78 and 75 for a combined total of 153. Nicholas Johnson from Bella Collina, FL finished the top three honors with scores of 80 and 75 for a weekend total of 155.
Girls 14-18

Josefina Rendo from Buenos, Aires, Argentina was the first-place finisher this weekend. Rendo brought in scores of 77 and 72 for a combined total of 149 for the weekend. Ariana Carvalho from Windermere, FL was the runner up for the weekend with scores of 80 and 72 for a combined total of 152. Cella Campos from Honolulu, HI finished the top three honors with scores of 78 and 76 for a weekend total of 154.

About Hurricane Junior Golf Tour
The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour (HJGT) was founded in 2007 with the intention of providing junior golfers between the ages of 8-18 an opportunity to play exceptional courses in a competitive environment. The tour’s vision is to provide superb hospitality and make every event a memorable one. With play open to both males and females, nearly every junior golfer is eligible to participate on the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour. Currently the HJGT is the largest multi-day junior golf tour in the United States hosting more 2-day nationally ranked events than any other tour. The HJGT has been able to achieve this goal by running the most professional events and providing an exceptional value to all of our players and families over the last 14 years.
Based out of Orlando, FL, the HJGT administers events all across the country. In 2021, the HJGT will conduct events in Alabama, Arizona, California, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia and Canada. Juniors will compete in 1 of 6 divisions which are: Boys 16-18, Boys 14-15, Boys 11-13, Boys under 10, Girls 14-18, and Girls Under 13. Click here to view approximate yardages for each division.
