From October 26th to the 27th, the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour held the Virginia Junior Classic. The tournament was made up of a 36-hole format with a field of five divisions that included the Tiger Woods Division Boys 16-18, Will Smith Division Boys 14-15, Ernie Els Division Boys 11-13, Justin Timberlake Division Girls 14-18, and Justin Rose Division Girls Under 13.
Sawn Colella from Marcellus, NY was the first-place finisher this weekend. Colella brought in scores of 74 and 69 for a combined total of 143 for the weekend. Garnet Manley III from Lynchburg, VA was the runner up for the weekend with scores of 75 and 76 for a combined total of 151. Andrew Watson from Fredericksburg, VA finished the top three honors with scores of 74 and 79 for a weekend total of 153.
Joe Johnson from Leesburg, VA was able to seal his victory by ending the weekend with scores of 71 and 74 for a combined total of 145. Nathan Guertler from Merchantville, NJ was the runner up with scores of 75 and 75 for a 150 weekend total. Benjamin Chamberlin from Germantown, MD finished the top three honors with scores of 77 and 75 for a weekend total of 152.
Mason Tucker from York, PA was the first-place finisher this weekend. Tucker brought in scores of 77 and 80 with a combined score of 157. Aiden Patel from Ashburn, VA was the second-place finisher with scores of 77 and 81 for a total of 158. Carson Looney from Bethesda, MD finished the top three honors with scores of 90 and 80 for a 170 weekend total.
Lauren Jones from Newtown Sqaure, PA was the top finisher with impressive scores of 79 and 77 for a 156 weekend finish. Christina Carroll from Wilmington, DE took home the runner up title with scores of 82 and 76 for a weekend total of 158.
Leela Kenwood from Bethesda, MD was the top finisher for the Justin Rose division with scores of 93 and 107 for a weekend of 200. Jaeda Robinson from DeWitt, NY was the runner up for the weekend with scores of 103 and 104, a combined total of 207 strokes.
