From December 17-18, 2022, the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour held the Tucson Holiday Junior Open. The tournament was made up of a 36-hole format with a field of five divisions that included the Boys 16-18 Division, Boys 11-13 Division, Boys Under 10 Division, Girls 14-18 Division, and Girls Under 13 Division.
Tyler McNeive from Overland Park, KS was the first-place finisher this weekend. McNeive brought in scores of 69 and 73 for a combined total of 142 for the weekend. Matthew Ahlgrim from Farmington, NM the runner up for the weekend with scores of 73 and 71for a combined total of 144. Skyler Woods from Kirtland, NM finished the top three honors with scores of 73 and 75 for a weekend total of 148.
Parker Servoss from Tucson, AZ was the first-place finisher this weekend. Servoss brought in scores of 77 and 84 for a combined total of 161 for the weekend. Eric Roy Kim from Bellevue, WA was the runner up for the weekend with scores of 91 and 92 for a combined total of 183. Arjav Shah from Bloomingdale, IL finished the top three honors with scores of 96 and 89 for a weekend total of 185.
Lily Huether from Tucson, AZ was the first-place finisher this weekend. Huether brought in scores of 79 and 81 for a combined total of 160 for the weekend. Madeleine Nguyen from Phoenix, AZ was the runner up for the weekend with scores of 89 and 82for a combined total of 171. Tyla Greenwood from Tucson, AZ finished the top three honors with scores of 95 and 78 for a weekend total of 173.
Catherine Seder from Mesa, AZ was the first-place finisher this weekend. Seder brought in scores of 80 and 83 for a combined total of 163 for the weekend.
Boys 10 Under
Noah Nguyen from Phoenix, AZ was the first-place finisher this weekend. Nguyen brought in a final score of 201 for the weekend.
About Hurricane Junior Golf Tour
The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour (HJGT) was founded in 2007 with the intention of providing junior golfers between the ages of 8-18 an opportunity to play exceptional courses in a competitive environment. The tour’s vision is to provide superb hospitality and make every event a memorable one. With play open to both males and females, nearly every junior golfer is eligible to participate on the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour. Currently the HJGT is the largest multi-day junior golf tour in the United States hosting more 2-day nationally ranked events than any other tour. The HJGT has been able to achieve this goal by running the most professional events and providing an exceptional value to all of our players and families over the last 14 years.
Based out of Orlando, FL, the HJGT administers events all across the country. In 2021, the HJGT will conduct events in Alabama, Arizona, California, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia and Canada. Juniors will compete in 1 of 6 divisions which are: Boys 16-18, Boys 14-15, Boys 11-13, Boys under 10, Girls 14-18, and Girls Under 13. Click here to view approximate yardages for each division.
