From from Sunday July 21st through Monday July 22nd, the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour held the Trump Westchester Jr open. The tournament was made up of a 36-hole format with a field of six divisions that included the Tiger Woods Division Boys 16-18, Will Smith Division Boys 14-15, Ernie Els Division Boys 11-13, Bryson DeChambeau boys 10 and Under, Justin Timberlake Division Girls 14-18 and Justin Rose Girl 13 and Under division.

Tiger Woods Boys 16-18

Trump Westchester Jr. Open

Adam Zou of Wesley Chapel, FL was able to take home first place honors after a final round 71. Zou had a total of 144 strokes for the weekend to win by a six-shot margin over his closest competitor. Patrick Fennelly of East Hampton, NY had a final round of 73 to finish at a total of 150 strokes and claim solo runner-up honors. Rounding up our top-three was Connor Hicks of Pound Ridge, NY with a total of 155 strokes to finish in third-place.

Will Smith Boys 14-15

Trump Westchester Jr. Open

Robert Kimmel of Shaker Heights, OHwas able to seal his victory with a final round of 79 and a total of 156 strokes. Kimmel made 4 birdies over the weekend to win by 3-shot margin over his closest competitor. Ryan Nicholl of Scarsdale, NY shot a total of 159 shots and claimed solo runner-up honors. Rounding up the top three was Taylor Pinkernell of New Canaan, CT with a weekend total of 161 strokes to finish with solo third place honors.

Ernie Els 11-13

Trump Westchester Jr. Open

Lucas Rizo-Patron of Rye, NY was able to seal his victory with a first round of 71 and a total of 151 strokes. Rizo-Patron made 5 birdies over the weekend to win by an impressive margin over his closest competitor. Colin Firda from Monroe, CT shot a total of 160 shots and claimed runner-up honors for the division. Rounding up the top three was Jonathan Oakes of Dobbs Ferry, NY with a total of 161 shots to claim solo third-place honors.

Justin Timberlake Girls 14-18

Trump Westchester Jr. Open

Sofia Nogalo of Irvington, NY claimed first place honors after shooting a last round 78 to win by a margin of 4 strokes over her closest competitor. Nogalo shot a total of 156 strokes and made 3 birdies over the weekend to win. Olivia Patrow of East Stroudsburg, PA finished with a total of 160 shots and a final round 78 to claim runner-up honors. Rounding up the top three was Skye Bruan of Scarsdale, NY with a weekend total of 172 strokes to claim solo third-place honors.

Justin Rose Girls U13

Trump Westchester Jr. Open

Ellison Lundquist of Furlong, PA claimed first place honors after shooting weekend rounds of 78 and 73 to win by a ten shot margin over her closest competitor. Lundquist had a weekend total of 151 strokes and 5 birdies to win. Kiara Therese Montebon of the Philippines had a total of 161 strokes to claim solo runner-up honors for the week with a final round 81. Rounding up our top-three was Isabella Salerno of Rye, NY with a weekend total of 166 strokes and a final round of 79.

Trump Westchester Jr. Open

Rayhao Feng of Short Hills, NJ was able to seal his victory with a weekend total of 181 strokes. Feng had a final round 87 to win by a 9-shot margin over his closest competitor. Ryan Sun of Morganville, NJ claimed runner-up honors with a total of 191 shots for the week and round up the division.

About Hurricane Junior Golf Tour

In 2017, The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour announced a partnership with Nexus, an international hospitality and entertainment company backed by financier Joe Lewis and Tavistock Group, golfing great Tiger Woods and musician and entertainer Justin Timberlake, which will further our collective goal of growing the game of golf, broadening the Tour’s reach across the U.S. and around the world.

The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour (HJGT) was founded in 2007 with the intent of providing junior golfers between the ages of 11-18, and now 10 and under, an opportunity to play exceptional courses in a competitive environment. Golfers who participate on the tour will compete in one of six age divisions: Boys 16-18, Boys 14-15, Boys 11-13, Boys U10, Girls 14-18, and Girls U13. Based out of Jacksonville, FL, the HJGT administers events all across the nation, with stops in Alabama, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Nebraska, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee and Virginia. In 2016, we have now expanded to the west coast and cover California, Texas, Arizona, Colorado, Washington, Nevada, and Oregon.
