From April 2nd-3rd, 2022, the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour held the TPC Deere Run Spring Junior Open. The tournament was made up of a 36-hole format with a field of five divisions that included the Boys 16-18 Division, Boys 14-15 Division, Boys 11-13 Division, Girls 14-18 Division, and Girls Under 13 Division.
Boys 16-18
Jackson Hulsey from Saint Charles, IL was the first-place finisher this weekend. Hulsey brought in scores of 71 and 71 for a combined total of 142 for the weekend. Michael Addie from Sussex, WI was the runner-up this weekend with scores of 74 and 72 for a combined total of 146. Titus Boswell from Monrovia, IN finished top three honors with scores of 76 and 72 for a weekend total of 148.
Boys 14-15
Andrew Ballou from Victoria, MN was the first-place finisher this weekend. Ballou brought in scores of 81 and 77 for a combined total of 158 for the weekend. Callan Fahey from Wheaton, IL was the runner-up this weekend with scores of 81 and 78 for a combined total of 159. Noah Frederickson from Cotton Grove, WI finished top three honors with scores of 82 and 82 for a weekend total of 164.
Boys 11-13
Isaac Rumler from Silvis, IL was the first-place finisher this weekend. Rumler brought in scores of 74 and 74 for a combined total of 148 for the weekend. Tye Treadwell from Omaha, NE was the runner-up this weekend with scores of 75 and 76 for a combined total of 151. Miles Elgert from Lincoln, NE finished top three honors with scores of 87 and 80 for a weekend total of 167.
Girls 14-18
Isabella Elgert from Lincoln, NE was the first-place finisher this weekend. Elgert brought in scores of 89 and 83 for a combined total of 172 for the weekend. Kaitlyn Dumler from Lincoln, NE was the runner-up this weekend with scores of 98 and 87 for a combined total of 185. Emma Vander Wall from New Lenox, IL finished top three honors with scores of 103 and 94 for a weekend total of 197.
Girls U13
Ainsley Wilson from Iowa City, IA was the first-place finisher this weekend. Wilson brought in scores of 82 and 82 for a combined total of 164 for the weekend. Rylee Brockhouse from Muscatine, IA was the runner-up this weekend with scores of 87 and 82 for a combined total of 169. Camille DeLost from Kenosha, WI finished top three honors with scores of 101 and 89 for a weekend total of 190.

About Hurricane Junior Golf Tour
The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour (HJGT) was founded in 2007 with the intention of providing junior golfers between the ages of 8-18 an opportunity to play exceptional courses in a competitive environment. The tour’s vision is to provide superb hospitality and make every event a memorable one. With play open to both males and females, nearly every junior golfer is eligible to participate on the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour. Currently the HJGT is the largest multi-day junior golf tour in the United States hosting more 2-day nationally ranked events than any other tour. The HJGT has been able to achieve this goal by running the most professional events and providing an exceptional value to all of our players and families over the last 14 years.
Based out of Orlando, FL, the HJGT administers events all across the country. In 2021, the HJGT will conduct events in Alabama, Arizona, California, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia and Canada. Juniors will compete in 1 of 6 divisions which are: Boys 16-18, Boys 14-15, Boys 11-13, Boys under 10, Girls 14-18, and Girls Under 13. Click here to view approximate yardages for each division.
