From July 2-3, 2022, the Hurricane Junior Golf Tourheld the Toftrees Junior Open. The tournament was made up of a 36-hole formatwith a field of five divisions that included the Boys 16-18 Division, Boys14-15 Division, Boys 11-13 Division, Boys Under 10 Division, and Girls 14-18 Division.
Boys 16-18

Aidan Farkas from Ardmore, Pennsylvania was the first-place finisher this weekend after beating Mitchell Riter from Homer, New York in a one-hole playoff. Farkas brought in scores of 79 and 71 for a combined total of 150 for the weekend. Riter was the runner up this weekend with scores of 76 and 74 for a combined total of 150. Jack Porter finished the top three honors with scores o f 73 and 79 for a combined total of 152,
Boys 14-15

Hunter Probst from Bear Creek, Pennsylvania was the first-place finisher this weekend. Probst brought in scores of 75 and 74 for a combined total of 149 for the weekend. Davis Kittsley from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania was the runner up with scores of 80 and 79 for a combined total of 159. Matthew Begg from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania finished the top three honors with scores of 86 and 85 for a weekend total of 171.
Boys 11-13

Carson Kittsley from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania was the first-place finisher this weekend. Kittsley brought in scores of 76 and 73 for a combined total of 149 for the weekend. Luke McGraw from Boalsburg, Pennsylvania was the runner up this weekend with scores of 77 and 75 for a combined total of 152. Colby Komancheck from Royersford, Pennsylvania finished the top three honors with scores of 77 and 83 for a weekend total of 160.
Girls 14-18

Chaela Barnett from Hatboro, Pennsylvania was the first-place finisher this weekend after beating Lola Barnett from Hatboro, Pennsylvania and Emily Wang from McLean, Virginia in a six-hole playoff match. Chaela brought in scores of 81 and 76 for a combined total of 157. Lola was the runner up this weekend with scores of 84 and 73 for a combined total of 157. Wang finished the top three honors with scores of 76 and 81 for a weekend total of 157.
Girls U13
Boys 10 Under

Keenan Covich from Morgantown, West Virginia was the first-place finisher this weekend. Covich brought in scores of 1-4 and 106 for a combined total of 210 for the weekend.

About Hurricane Junior Golf Tour
The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour (HJGT) was founded in 2007 with the intention of providing junior golfers between the ages of 8-18 an opportunity to play exceptional courses in a competitive environment. The tour’s vision is to provide superb hospitality and make every event a memorable one. With play open to both males and females, nearly every junior golfer is eligible to participate on the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour. Currently the HJGT is the largest multi-day junior golf tour in the United States hosting more 2-day nationally ranked events than any other tour. The HJGT has been able to achieve this goal by running the most professional events and providing an exceptional value to all of our players and families over the last 14 years.
Based out of Orlando, FL, the HJGT administers events all across the country. In 2021, the HJGT will conduct events in Alabama, Arizona, California, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia and Canada. Juniors will compete in 1 of 6 divisions which are: Boys 16-18, Boys 14-15, Boys 11-13, Boys under 10, Girls 14-18, and Girls Under 13. Click here to view approximate yardages for each division. The HJGT season is based on a calendar year and players earn points throughout the season towards year end honors beginning December 31, 2021.
