On Saturday September 15 – Sunday September 16, 2018 The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour held the Fenton Cup at Whitewater Creek Country Club in Fayetteville, GA. The tournament was made up of a 36-hole, two-day format and the field was made from Five divisions that included the Tiger Woods Division Boys 16-18, Will Smith Division Boys 14-15, Ernie Els Division Boys 11-13, Bryson Dechambeau Division U10, and the Justin Timberlake Division Girls 14-18.
Boys 16-18

Ben Fey captured the first-place finish at the Fenton Cup in the Tiger Woods Boys 16-18 division with a 2-day total of 146(73-73). With solid play both days, Fey was able to hold off Matthew Feste by 2 shots. David Dickey rounded out the division with the 3rd place finish shooting a 2-day total of 149(75-73).
Boys 14-15

In the Will Smith Boys 14-15 division Jack Shade of Marietta, GA took home first place this weekend in shooting a 2-day total of 154. Solid play in the second round allowed Shade to take a 1 shot victory over Kevin Park and Rob Ferris who finished second with a 2-day total of 155 tying for second place.
Boys 11-13

Ethan Smith did not disappoint in the Ernie Els boys 11-13 division as he carded rounds of 71-69 to win in his division over Chapman Barnett who carded rounds of 71-74 to claim 2nd place. Dalton Burts shot a 2-day total of 159 (79-80) to take a solo 3rd place finish.
Girls 14-18

Yedam Lee ended up with the first-place finish in the Justin Timberlake Girls 14-18 Division by carding a total of 149(76-73). With consistent rounds, Lee was able to hold off Tori Owens by 1 shot. Rounding out the division was Emily Haigwood who shot a 2-day total of 152 to claim a 3rd place finish.
Girls U13
Boys 10 Under

In the Bryson Dechambeau Boys U10 division Jackson Armbruster took home first place this weekend in shooting a 2-day total of 158. Solid play in the second round allowed Armbruster to take victory over Cole Rosich who finished second with a 2-day total of 176.

In 2017, The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour announced a partnership with Nexus, an international hospitality and entertainment company backed by financier Joe Lewis and Tavistock Group, golfing great Tiger Woods and musician and entertainer Justin Timberlake, which will further our collective goal of growing the game of golf, broadening the Tour’s reach across the U.S. and around the world.
The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour (HJGT) was founded in 2007 with the intent of providing junior golfers between the ages of 11-18, and now 10 and under, an opportunity to play exceptional courses in a competitive environment. Golfers who participate on the tour will compete in one of six age divisions: Boys 16-18, Boys 14-15, Boys 11-13, Boys U10, Girls 14-18, and Girls U13. Based out of Jacksonville, FL, the HJGT administers events all across the nation, with stops in Alabama, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Nebraska, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee and Virginia. In 2016, we have now expanded to the west coast and cover California, Texas, Arizona, Colorado, Washington, Nevada, and Oregon.
