From January 28-29, the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour held the Tampa Bay Winter Junior Open. The tournament was made up of a 36-hole format with a field of four divisions that included the Boys 16-18 Division, Boys 14-15 Division, Girls 14-18 Division, and Girls Under 13 Division.
Boys 16-18

Ethan Hill from Maraval, Trinidad and Tobago was the first-place finisher this weekend. Hill brought in scores of 76 and 76 for a combined total of 152 for the weekend. Jackson Woroner from St. Petersburg, FL was the runner up for the weekend with scores of 79 and 74 for a combined total of 153. Zhengyi (Louie) Liu from Bradenton, FL finished the top three honors with scores of 80 and 79 for a weekend total of 159.
Boys 14-15

Amine El Omari from Wesley Chapel, FL was the first-place finisher this weekend. El Omari brought in scores of 71 and 74 for a combined total of 145 for the weekend. Grant Goslin from Tampa, FL was the runner up for the weekend with scores of 75 and 71 for a combined total of 146.
Boys 11-13
Girls 14-18

Treva Dodd from Bradenton, FL was the first-place finisher this weekend. Dodd brought in scores of 79 and 78 for a combined total of 157 for the weekend. Mia Pace from Exton, PA was the runner up for the weekend with scores of 81 and 78 for a combined total of 159. Lindsey Kerr from Trinity, FL finished the top three honors with scores of 73 and 87 for a weekend total of 160.
Girls U13

Hana Blinn from Clearwater, FL was the first-place finisher this weekend. Blinn brought in a score of 94 on both days for a combined total of 188 for the weekend.

About Hurricane Junior Golf Tour
The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour (HJGT) was founded in 2007 with the intention of providing junior golfers between the ages of 8-18 an opportunity to play exceptional courses in a competitive environment. The tour’s vision is to provide superb hospitality and make every event a memorable one. With play open to both males and females, nearly every junior golfer is eligible to participate on the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour. Currently the HJGT is the largest multi-day junior golf tour in the United States hosting more 2-day nationally ranked events than any other tour. The HJGT has been able to achieve this goal by running the most professional events and providing an exceptional value to all of our players and families over the last 14 years.
Based out of Orlando, FL, the HJGT administers events all across the country. In 2021, the HJGT will conduct events in Alabama, Arizona, California, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia and Canada. Juniors will compete in 1 of 6 divisions which are: Boys 16-18, Boys 14-15, Boys 11-13, Boys under 10, Girls 14-18, and Girls Under 13. Click here to view approximate yardages for each division.
