From July 31-August 1, the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour held the Summer College Prep Series at Penn State #2. The tournament was made up of a 36-hole format with a field of five divisions that included the Boys 16-18 Division, Boys 14-15 Division, Boys 11-13 Division, Girls 14-18 Division, and Girls Under 13 Division.
Boys 16-18

Santino Diokno from Quezon City, Philippines was the first-place finisher this weekend. Diokno brought in scores of 69 and 71 for a combined total of 140 (-4) for the weekend. Aiden LeBlanc from Macungie, PAwas the runner up for the weekend with scores of 73 and 70 for a combined total of 143 (-1). Connor Desjardins from Niskayuna, NY finished the top three honors with scores of 69 and 77 for a weekend total of 146 (+2).
Boys 14-15

Michael Lugiano from Shavertown, PA was the first-place finisher this weekend. Lugiano brought in scores of 75 and 70 for a combined total of 145 (+1) for the weekend. Jacob Vazquex from Palm Harbor, FL was the runner up for the weekend with scores of 81 and 76 for a combined total of 157 (+13). Tim Pease from Plum, PA finished the top three honors with scores of 83 and 78 for a weekend total of 161 (+17).
Boys 11-13

Luke McGraw from Boalsburg, PA was the first-place finisher this weekend. McGraw brought in scores of 77 and 79 for a combined total of 156 (+12) for the weekend. Ian Larsen from Glenmoore, PA was the runner up for the weekend with scores of 80 and 80 for a combined total of 160 (+16).
Girls 14-18

Marissa Malosh from South Fayette, PA was the first-place finisher this weekend. Malosh brought in scores of 75 and 74 for a combined total of 149 (+5) for the weekend. Olivia Deakins from Dobbs Ferry, NY and Taylor Sieg from Summit, NJ tied for second-place with a score of 152 (+8). Deakins brought in round scores of 78 and 74, while Sieg tallied scores of 79 and 73.
Girls U13

Madison Koshko from State College, PA was the first-place finisher this weekend. Koshko brought in scores of 74 and 74 for a combined total of 148 (+4) for the weekend.

About Hurricane Junior Golf Tour
The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour (HJGT) was founded in 2007 with the intention of providing junior golfers between the ages of 8-18 an opportunity to play exceptional courses in a competitive environment. The tour’s vision is to provide superb hospitality and make every event a memorable one. With play open to both males and females, nearly every junior golfer is eligible to participate on the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour. Currently the HJGT is the largest multi-day junior golf tour in the United States hosting more 2-day nationally ranked events than any other tour. The HJGT has been able to achieve this goal by running the most professional events and providing an exceptional value to all of our players and families over the last 14 years.
Based out of Orlando, FL, the HJGT administers events all across the country. In 2021, the HJGT will conduct events in Alabama, Arizona, California, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia and Canada. Juniors will compete in 1 of 6 divisions which are: Boys 16-18, Boys 14-15, Boys 11-13, Boys under 10, Girls 14-18, and Girls Under 13. Click here to view approximate yardages for each division.
