St. Louis Kickoff at the Quarry

From May 22-23, 2021 the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour held the St. Louis Kickoff at the Quarry. The tournament was made up of a 36-hole format with a field of four divisions that included the Boys 16-18 Division, Boys 14-15 Division, Boys 11-13 Division, and Girls 14-18 Division.

Blake Skornia from St. Louis, Missouri was the first-place finisher this weekend. Skornia brought in scores of 76 and 70 for a combined total of 146 (+6) for the weekend. Max Boland from St. Louis, Missouri was the runner up for the weekend with scores of 79 and 73 for a combined total of 152 (+12). Sam Emrick from Saint Peters, Missouri finished the top three honors with scores of 75 and 79 for a weekend total of 154 (+14).

Nick Vilela from Washington, Missouri was the first-place finisher this weekend. Vilela brought in scores of 75 and 73 for a combined total of 148 (+8) for the weekend. Harper Ackermann from Webster Groves, Missouri and Harrison Zipfel from University City, Missouri tied for second-place honors. Ackermann brought in scores of 80 and 76 for a combined total of 156 (+16), while Zipfel scored a 77 and a 79 for a combined total of 156 (+16).

Konner Kubica from Lutz, Florida was the first-place finisher this weekend. Kubica brought in scores of 77 and 74 for a combined total of 151 (+11) for the weekend. Lyoto Bellon from St. Louis, Missouri was the runner up for the weekend with scores of 76 and 84 for a combined total of 160 (+20). Jacob Clark from Lebanon, Missouri finished the top three honors with scores of 77 and 84 for a weekend total of 161 (+21).

About Hurricane Junior Golf Tour

In 2017, The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour announced a partnership with Nexus, an international hospitality and entertainment company backed by financier Joe Lewis and Tavistock Group, golfing great Tiger Woods and musician and entertainer Justin Timberlake, which will further our collective goal of growing the game of golf, broadening the Tour’s reach across the U.S. and around the world.

The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour (HJGT) was founded in 2007 with the intent of providing junior golfers between the ages of 11-18, and now 10 and under, an opportunity to play exceptional courses in a competitive environment. Golfers who participate on the tour will compete in one of six age divisions: Boys 16-18, Boys 14-15, Boys 11-13, Boys U10, Girls 14-18, and Girls U13. Based out of Jacksonville, FL, the HJGT administers events all across the nation, with stops in Alabama, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Nebraska, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee and Virginia. In 2016, we have now expanded to the west coast and cover California, Texas, Arizona, Colorado, Washington, Nevada, and Oregon.
