From October 31- November 1, the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour held the St. Louis Fall Junior Open. The tournament was made up of a 36-hole format with a field of six divisions that included the Tiger Woods Division Boys 16-18, Will Smith Division Boys 14-15, Ernie Els Division Boys 11-13, Bryson DeChambeau Division Boys Under 10, Justin Timberlake Division Girls 14-18, and Justin Rose Division Girls Under 13.
Boys 16-18
Dain Richie from New Berlin, IL was the first-place finisher this weekend. Richie brought in scores of 74 and 73 for a combined total of 147 for the weekend. Trey Rusthoven from Saint Peters, MO was the runner up for the weekend with scores of 76 and 75 for a combined total of 151. Reece Tennison from Bloomington, IL, Matthew Politte from Town and Country, MO, and Thornton Walker from Ladue, MO finished the top three honors. Tennison finished with scores of 76 and 76 for a weekend total of 152. Politte fisnihed with 73 and 79 for a total of 152. Walker had scores of 73 and 79 for a total of 152.
Boys 14-15
Benjamin Berger from St. Charles, MO was the first-place finisher this weekend. Berger brought in scores of 77 and 82 for a combined total of 159 for the weekend. John “Bubba” Chapman from St. Louis, MO was the runner up for the weekend with scores of 78 and 84 for a combined total of 162. Harper Ackermann from Webster Groves, MO finished the top three honors with scores of 79 and 84 for a weekend total of 163.
Boys 11-13
Felipe Carvajal from Kansas City, MO was the first-place finisher this weekend. Carvajal brought in scores of 86 and 86 for a combined total of 172 for the weekend. Lyoto Bellon from St. Louis, MO was the runner up for the weekend with scores of 86 and 92 for a combined total of 178.
Girls 14-18
Nicole Johnson from Edwardsville, IL was the first-place finisher this weekend. Johnson brought in scores of 71 and 76 for a combined total of 147 for the weekend. Kylee Hormuth from Wentzville, MO was the runner up for the weekend with scores of 73 and 77 for a combined total of 150. Jillian Cosler from Orlando Park, IL finished the top three honors with scores of 75 and 83 for a weekend total of 158.
Girls U13
Tess Guignon from St. Louis, MO was the first-place finisher this weekend. Guignon brought in scores of 95 and 92 for a combined total of 187 for the weekend.
Boys 10 Under
Brendan Gibson from Columbia, IL was the first-place finisher this weekend. Gibson brought in scores of 87 and 90 for a combined total of 177 for the weekend.

About Hurricane Junior Golf Tour
In 2017, The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour announced a partnership with Nexus, an international hospitality and entertainment company backed by financier Joe Lewis and Tavistock Group, golfing great Tiger Woods and musician and entertainer Justin Timberlake, which will further our collective goal of growing the game of golf, broadening the Tour’s reach across the U.S. and around the world.
The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour (HJGT) was founded in 2007 with the intent of providing junior golfers between the ages of 11-18, and now 10 and under, an opportunity to play exceptional courses in a competitive environment. Golfers who participate on the tour will compete in one of six age divisions: Boys 16-18, Boys 14-15, Boys 11-13, Boys U10, Girls 14-18, and Girls U13. Based out of Jacksonville, FL, the HJGT administers events all across the nation, with stops in Alabama, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Nebraska, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee and Virginia. In 2016, we have now expanded to the west coast and cover California, Texas, Arizona, Colorado, Washington, Nevada, and Oregon.
