From March 20th to March 21st, 2021, the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour held theRichmond Junior Open. The tournament was made up of a 36-hole format with a field of six divisions that included the Boys 16-18 Division, Boys 14-15 Division, Boys 11-13 Division, Boys U10 Division, Girls 14-18 Division, and Girls Under 13 Division.
Boys 16-18

Sean Dully from Palm Beach Gardens, FL was the first-place finisher this weekend. Dully brought in scores of 73 and 77 for a combined total of 150 for the weekend. Richard Russekoff from Greenwich, CT was the runner up for the weekend with scores of 78 and 79 for a combined total of 157. Heathcliffe Kane from Albany, Bahamas finished with the top three honors. Kane brought in consistent scores of 79 for a weekend total of 158.
Boys 14-15

Alex Finger from Highland Pakr, IL was the first-place finisher this weekend. Finger brought in scores of 84 and 78 for a combined total of 162 for the weekend. Jayden Brar from Calgary, Canada and Brody Burgess from Victor, NY tied for the runner up honors this weekend. Both Brar and Burgess brought in scores of 80 and 83 for a weekend total of 163.
Boys 11-13

Mateo Desmond from Pompano Beach, FL was the first-place finisher this weekend. Desmond brought in scores of 74 and 77 for a combined total of 151 for the weekend. Raffaello Galiano from Coral Springs, FL was the runner up for the weekend. Galiano finished with scores of 81 and 83 for a combined total of 164. Vaili Gianakas from Kleinburg, Canada finished with the top three honors. Gianakas brought in scores fo 81 and 94 for a 175 weekend total.
Girls 14-18

Brooke Oberparleiter from Laurel Springs, NJ was the first-place finisher this weekend. Oberparleiter brought in scores of 79 and 76 for a combined total of 155 for the weekend. Alana Hall from Boca Raton, FL was the runner up for the weekend with scores of 77 and 79 for a combined total of 156. Josephine Genereux from Greenwich, CT finished with the top three honors with scores of 82 and 81 for a weekend total of 163.
Girls U13

Isabella Michetti from Naples, FL was the first place finisher this weekend. Michetti brought in scores of 100 and 98 for a combined total of 198 for the weekend.
Boys 10 Under

Kevin Kenny III was the first-place finisher this weekend. Kenny III brought in scores of 123 and 106 for a combined total of 229 for the weekend.

About Hurricane Junior Golf Tour
In 2017, The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour announced a partnership with Nexus, an international hospitality and entertainment company backed by financier Joe Lewis and Tavistock Group, golfing great Tiger Woods and musician and entertainer Justin Timberlake, which will further our collective goal of growing the game of golf, broadening the Tour’s reach across the U.S. and around the world.
The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour (HJGT) was founded in 2007 with the intent of providing junior golfers between the ages of 11-18, and now 10 and under, an opportunity to play exceptional courses in a competitive environment. Golfers who participate on the tour will compete in one of six age divisions: Boys 16-18, Boys 14-15, Boys 11-13, Boys U10, Girls 14-18, and Girls U13. Based out of Jacksonville, FL, the HJGT administers events all across the nation, with stops in Alabama, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Nebraska, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee and Virginia. In 2016, we have now expanded to the west coast and cover California, Texas, Arizona, Colorado, Washington, Nevada, and Oregon.
