South Florida Fall Junior Open

From October 2-3, 2021 , the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour held the South Florida Fall Junior Open . The tournament was made up of a 36-hole format with a field of five divisions that included the Boys 16-18 Division, Boys 14-15 Division, Boys 11-13 Division, Girls 14-18 Division, and Girls U13 Division.

Ismael Garcia from León, Mexico was the first-place finisher this weekend. Garcia brought in scores of 83 and 76 for a weekend total of 159. Harrison DeLisle from Miami Beach, FL finished with weekend with the runner up honors. DeLisle brought in scores of 86 and 83 for a weekend total of 169. Olvin Arce from Rs Tanura, Saudi Arabia rounded out the top three honors for the weekend with scores of 82 and 88, a weekend total of 170.

Ethan Keen from West Palm Beach, FL was the first-place finisher this weekend. Keen finished his weekend with scores of 81 and 78 for a weekend total of 159. Thaddeus Matteo Huainigg from Austria was the runner up for the weekend. Huainigg brought in scores of 78 and 83 for a weekend finish of 161. William Keiley from Jupiter, FL rounded out the top three honors this weekend with scores of 82 and 80, a final total of 162.

Quentin Angeli from Boca Raton, FL was the runner up for the weekend. Angeli finished with scores of 84 and 77 for a weekend total of 161. Jordan Reyes from West Palm Beach, FL rounded out the top three honors with scores of 83 and 81, a weekend total of 164.

About Hurricane Junior Golf Tour

In 2017, The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour announced a partnership with Nexus, an international hospitality and entertainment company backed by financier Joe Lewis and Tavistock Group, golfing great Tiger Woods and musician and entertainer Justin Timberlake, which will further our collective goal of growing the game of golf, broadening the Tour’s reach across the U.S. and around the world.

The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour (HJGT) was founded in 2007 with the intent of providing junior golfers between the ages of 11-18, and now 10 and under, an opportunity to play exceptional courses in a competitive environment. Golfers who participate on the tour will compete in one of six age divisions: Boys 16-18, Boys 14-15, Boys 11-13, Boys U10, Girls 14-18, and Girls U13. Based out of Jacksonville, FL, the HJGT administers events all across the nation, with stops in Alabama, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Nebraska, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee and Virginia. In 2016, we have now expanded to the west coast and cover California, Texas, Arizona, Colorado, Washington, Nevada, and Oregon.
