From August 11-12, 2020, the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour held the Slammer and Squire Junior Open. The tournament was made up of a 36-hole format with a field of five divisions that included the Tiger Woods Division Boys 16-18, Will Smith Division Boys 14-15, Ernie Els Division Boys 11-13, Bryson DeChambeau Division Boys Under 10, and Justin Timberlake Division Girls 14-18.
Boys 16-18

Iain Murphy Herndon from Oldsmar, FL was the first-place finisher this weekend. Murphy Herndon brought in scores of 75 and 72 for a combined total of 147 for the weekend. Brody Stevenson from St. Augustine, FL was the runner up for the weekend with scores of 77 and 75 for a combined total of 152. Nolan Zaepfel from Jacksonville, FL finished the top three honors with scores of 83 and 78 for a weekend total of 161.
Boys 14-15

Andrew Zhao from Tampa, FL was the first-place finisher this weekend. Zhao brought in consistent scores of 89 for a combined total of 178 for the weekend. Cooper Duke from Tallahassee, FL was the runner up for the weekend with scores of 99 and 92 for a combined total of 191.
Boys 11-13

Jeremiah Smith from Viera, FL was the first-place finisher this weekend. Smith brought in scores of 81 and 75 for a combined total of 156 for the weekend.
Girls 14-18

Sierra Fink from Canton, GA was the first-place finisher this weekend. Fink brought in scores of 70 and 77 for a combined total of 147 for the weekend. Maddie Rathjen from St. Augustine, FL was the runner up for the weekend with scores of 78 and 79 for a combined total of 157. Scarlett Schremmer from Honolulu, HI finished the top three honors with scores of 77 and 82 for a weekend total of 159.

Boys 10 Under

Logan Gowin from Charleston, IL was the first-place finisher this weekend. Gowin brought in scores of 89 and 86 for a combined total of 175 for the weekend

About Hurricane Junior Golf Tour
In 2017, The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour announced a partnership with Nexus, an international hospitality and entertainment company backed by financier Joe Lewis and Tavistock Group, golfing great Tiger Woods and musician and entertainer Justin Timberlake, which will further our collective goal of growing the game of golf, broadening the Tour’s reach across the U.S. and around the world.
The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour (HJGT) was founded in 2007 with the intent of providing junior golfers between the ages of 11-18, and now 10 and under, an opportunity to play exceptional courses in a competitive environment. Golfers who participate on the tour will compete in one of six age divisions: Boys 16-18, Boys 14-15, Boys 11-13, Boys U10, Girls 14-18, and Girls U13. Based out of Jacksonville, FL, the HJGT administers events all across the nation, with stops in Alabama, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Nebraska, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee and Virginia. In 2016, we have now expanded to the west coast and cover California, Texas, Arizona, Colorado, Washington, Nevada, and Oregon.
