From April 17-18, 2021, the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour held the Skybrook Junior Open. The tournament was made up of a 36-hole format with a field of five divisions that included the Boys 16-18 Division, Boys 14-15 Division, Boys 11-13 Division, Girls 14-18 Division, and Girls Under 13 Division.
Boys 16-18

Dhayanij Lemkanitchat from Lincolnton, NC was the first place finisher for the weekend after winning in a playoff. Lemkanitchat brought in scores of 74 and 75 for a weekend total of 149. Cort Benner from Bend, OR was the runner up for the weekend. Benner finished with scores of 79 and 70 for a weekend total of 149. Devon Kim from Oakland Gardens, NY and Kenny Walter from Concord, NC tied for the third place honors for the weekend. Kim brought in consistent scores of 76 for a total of 152. Walter finished with scores of 74 and 78 for a weekend finish of 152.
Boys 14-15

Hunter Justice from Cornelius, NC was the first place finisher for the weekend. Justice finished with consistent scores of 78 for a weekend total of 156. Christian Seamster from Raleigh, NC was the runner up for the weekend. Seamster finished with scores of 92 and 88 for a weekend total of 180. Stokes Greene from Charlotte, NC rounded out the top three honors with scores of 92 and 89, a weekend finish of 181.
Boys 11-13

Hamilton Coleman from Huntersville, NC was the first place finisher for the weekend. Coleman finished under par with scores of 70 and 69 for a weekend total of 139. Til Wagner from Charlotte, NC was the runner up for the weekend. Wagner finished with scores of 77 and 85 for a weekend total of 162. Braxton Hill from Davidson, NC rounded out the top three honors for the weekend. Hill finished with scores of 84 and 79 for a weekend total of 163.
Girls 14-18

Ana Fernanda Garay Ochoa from Lopez Mateos, Mexico was the first place finisher for the weekend. Garay Ochoa finished with scores of 79 and 84 for a weekend total of 163. Brooke Sutton from Concord, NC was the runner up for the weekend with scores of 80 and 84, finishing with a 164 total. Lextyn Petz from Columbia, SC rounded out the top three honors for the weekend. Petz brought in scores of 82 and 84 for a weekend total of 166.
Girls U13

Collins Clinard from Waxhaw, NC was the first place finisher for the weekend. Clinard finished with scores of 89 and 85 for a weekend total of 174. Kennedy Kite from Mint Hill, NC was the runner up for the weekend. Kite finished the weekend with scores of 98 and 97 for a weekend total of 195.

About Hurricane Junior Golf Tour
The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour (HJGT) was founded in 2007 with the intention of providing junior golfers between the ages of 8-18 an opportunity to play exceptional courses in a competitive environment. The tour’s vision is to provide superb hospitality and make every event a memorable one. With play open to both males and females, nearly every junior golfer is eligible to participate on the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour. Currently the HJGT is the largest multi-day junior golf tour in the United States hosting more 2-day nationally ranked events than any other tour. The HJGT has been able to achieve this goal by running the most professional events and providing an exceptional value to all of our players and families over the last 14 years.
Based out of Orlando, FL, the HJGT administers events all across the country. In 2021, the HJGT will conduct events in Alabama, Arizona, California, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia and Canada. Juniors will compete in 1 of 6 divisions which are: Boys 16-18, Boys 14-15, Boys 11-13, Boys under 10, Girls 14-18, and Girls Under 13. Click here to view approximate yardages for each division.
