From January 21-22, the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour held the Savannah Junior Open. The tournament was made up of a 36-hole format with a field of five divisions that included the Boys 16-18 Division, Boys 14-15 Division, Boys Under 10 Division, Girls 14-18 Division, and Girls Under 13 Division.
Boys 16-18

Braden Schnaible from Savannah, GA was the first-place finisher this weekend. Schnaible brought in scores of 75 and 74 for a combined total of 149 for the weekend. Cole Ross from Waunakee, WI was the runner up for the weekend with scores of 74 and 78 for a combined total of 152. Talyn Childress from Rincon, GA finished the top three honors with a score of 78 on both days for a weekend total of 156.
Boys 14-15

Tyler Taber from Mt. Pleasant, SC was the first-place finisher this weekend. Taber brought in scores of 77 and 80 for a combined total of 157 for the weekend. Jeff Adams from Hilton Head, SC was the runner up for the weekend with scores of 79 and 78 for a combined total of 157. Taber defeated Adams in a playoff. Alex (AJ) Dietrich from Mt. Pleasant, SC finished the top three honors with a score of 80 on both days for a weekend total of 160.
Boys 11-13
Girls 14-18

Gracie James from Pataskala, OH was the first-place finisher this weekend. James brought in scores of 80 and 79 for a combined total of 159 for the weekend. Bryn Sorge from Savannah, GA was the runner up for the weekend with scores of 82 and 84 for a combined total of 166. Biya Wang from Guanzhou, China finished the top three honors with scores of 84 and 85for a weekend total of 169.
Girls U13

Maya Lilja-Vazquez from Savannah, GA was the first-place finisher this weekend. Lilja-Vazquez brought in scores of 78 and 83 for a combined total of 161 for the weekend. Vivian Lott from Fayetteville, GA was the runner up for the weekend with scores of 77 and 88 for a combined total of 165.
Boys 10 Under

Brantley Lott from Statesboro, GA was the first-place finisher this weekend. Lott brought in scores of 80 and 86 for a combined total of 166 for the weekend. Rivers Hood from Savannah, GA was the runner up for the weekend with scores of 84 and 88 for a combined total of 172. Aiden Wilkinson from Surrency, GAnfinished the top three honors with scores of 97 and 85 for a weekend total of 182.

About Hurricane Junior Golf Tour
The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour (HJGT) was founded in 2007 with the intention of providing junior golfers between the ages of 8-18 an opportunity to play exceptional courses in a competitive environment. The tour’s vision is to provide superb hospitality and make every event a memorable one. With play open to both males and females, nearly every junior golfer is eligible to participate on the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour. Currently the HJGT is the largest multi-day junior golf tour in the United States hosting more 2-day nationally ranked events than any other tour. The HJGT has been able to achieve this goal by running the most professional events and providing an exceptional value to all of our players and families over the last 14 years.
Based out of Orlando, FL, the HJGT administers events all across the country. In 2021, the HJGT will conduct events in Alabama, Arizona, California, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia and Canada. Juniors will compete in 1 of 6 divisions which are: Boys 16-18, Boys 14-15, Boys 11-13, Boys under 10, Girls 14-18, and Girls Under 13. Click here to view approximate yardages for each division.
