Saddlebrook Spring Junior Open

From April 3-4 2021, the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour held the Saddlebrook Spring Junior Open. The tournament was made up of a 36-hole format with a field of six divisions that included the Boys 16-18 Division, Boys 14-15 Division, Boys 11-13 Division, Boys Under 10 Division, Girls 14-18 Division, and Girls Under 13 Division.

Gavin Clutts from Hazard, KY was the first place finisher this weekend. Clutts brought in scores of 75 and 73 for a weekend total of 148. Alex Ogle from Palm Harbor, FL was the runner up for the weekend. Ogle finished with scores of 75 and 74 a weekend total of 149. Ryan Zhao from Tornoto, Canada took home the top three honors for the weekend. Zhao finished with scores of 76 and 74 for a weekend total of 150.

Eric Zhao from Toronto, Canada was the first place finisher for the weekend. Zhao brought in scores of 76 and 74 for a 150 finish. Diego Alvarez Perez was the runner up on the weekend. Alvarez Perez finished with scores of 73 and 78 for a 151 total. Corey Edgar from Wesley Chapel, FL took home the top three honors. Edgar finished with scores of 84 and 71 for a weekend total of 155.

Clark Mason from St. Petersburg, FL was the first place finisher for the weekend. Mason brought in scores of 73 and 76 for a weekend finish of 149. Raffaello Galiano from Coral Springs, FL was the runner up for the weekend. Galiano finished with scores of 74 and 77 for a total of 151. Sam Brandenburg from Trinity, FL was the top three finisher on the weekend. Brandenburg brought in scores of 81 and 75 for a weekend finish of 156.

Yaya Sadamoto from Wesly Chapel, FL was the first place finisher for the weekend. Sadamoto finished with scores of 75 and 73 for a weekend total of 148. Holly McLean from Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands took home the runner up honors. McLean finished with scores of 76 and 73 for a weekend total of 149. Molly Smith from Westford, MA rounded out the top three honors. Smith brought in scores of 74 and 76 for a weekend score of 150.

Mikayla Pungsuwan from Lecanto, FL was the first place finished for the weekend. Pungsuwan brought in scores of 86 and 92 for a weekend finish of 178. About Hurricane Junior Golf Tour

In 2017, The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour announced a partnership with Nexus, an international hospitality and entertainment company backed by financier Joe Lewis and Tavistock Group, golfing great Tiger Woods and musician and entertainer Justin Timberlake, which will further our collective goal of growing the game of golf, broadening the Tour’s reach across the U.S. and around the world.

The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour (HJGT) was founded in 2007 with the intent of providing junior golfers between the ages of 11-18, and now 10 and under, an opportunity to play exceptional courses in a competitive environment. Golfers who participate on the tour will compete in one of six age divisions: Boys 16-18, Boys 14-15, Boys 11-13, Boys U10, Girls 14-18, and Girls U13. Based out of Jacksonville, FL, the HJGT administers events all across the nation, with stops in Alabama, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Nebraska, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee and Virginia. In 2016, we have now expanded to the west coast and cover California, Texas, Arizona, Colorado, Washington, Nevada, and Oregon.
