From January 16th to the 17th, the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour held the Saddlebrook Junior Open . The tournament was made up of a 36-hole format with a field of five divisions that included the Boys 16-18 Division, Boys 14-15 Division, Boys 11-13 Division, Boys Under 10 Division, and Girls 14-18 Division.
Boys 16-18

Gavin Clutts from Hazard, KY was the first-place finisher this weekend. Clutts brought in scores of 72 and 73 for a combined total of 145 for the weekend. Zachary Loninger from Crosswicks, NJ was the runner up for the weekend with scores of 76 and 75 for a combined total of 151. Nils Nottebohm from Wesley Chapel, FL finished the top three honors with scores of 72 and 81 for a weekend total of 153.
Boys 14-15

Conner Newbold from Wesley Chapel, FL was the first-place finisher this weekend. Newbold brought in scores of 77 and 74 for a combined total of 151 for the weekend. Corey Edgar from Wesley Chapel, FL was the runner up for the weekend with scores of 80 and 75 for a combined total of 155. Ethan Keys from Wesley Chapel, FL finished the top three honors with consistant scores of 79 for a weekend total of 158.
Boys 11-13

Tyler Brody from Grand Blanc, MI was the first-place finisher this weekend. Brody brought in scores of 76 and 75 for a combined total of 151 for the weekend. Mihir Roperia from Cranbury, NJ was the runner up for the weekend with scores of 75 and 77 for a combined total of 152. Konner Kubica from Northville, MI finished the top three honors with scores of 78 and 84 for a weekend total of 162.
Girls 14-18

Mariana Mesones from Wesley Chapel, FL was the first-place finisher this weekend. Mesones brought in scores of 71 and 72 for a combined total of 143 for the weekend. Sydney Kuo from Edison, NJ was the runner up for the weekend with scores of 78 and 75 for a combined total of 153. Sarah Zheng from Bolingbrook, IL finished the top three honors with scores of 75 and 80for a weekend total of 155.
Girls U13

Jolie Pastorick from Sarasota, FL was the first-place finisher this weekend. Pastorick brought in scores of 76 and 79 for a combined total of 155 for the weekend. Leila El Omari from Tampa, FL was the runner up for the weekend with scores of 101 and 93 for a combined total of 194.

About Hurricane Junior Golf Tour
In 2017, The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour announced a partnership with Nexus, an international hospitality and entertainment company backed by financier Joe Lewis and Tavistock Group, golfing great Tiger Woods and musician and entertainer Justin Timberlake, which will further our collective goal of growing the game of golf, broadening the Tour’s reach across the U.S. and around the world.
The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour (HJGT) was founded in 2007 with the intent of providing junior golfers between the ages of 11-18, and now 10 and under, an opportunity to play exceptional courses in a competitive environment. Golfers who participate on the tour will compete in one of six age divisions: Boys 16-18, Boys 14-15, Boys 11-13, Boys U10, Girls 14-18, and Girls U13. Based out of Jacksonville, FL, the HJGT administers events all across the nation, with stops in Alabama, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Nebraska, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee and Virginia. In 2016, we have now expanded to the west coast and cover California, Texas, Arizona, Colorado, Washington, Nevada, and Oregon.
