Roycebrook Junior Open

From July5-6, 2020, the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour held the Roycebrook Junior Open. Thetournament was made up of a 36-hole format with a field of six divisions thatincluded the Tiger Woods Division Boys 16-18, Will Smith Division Boys 14-15,Ernie Els Division Boys 11-13, Bryson DeChambeau Division Boys Under 10,  Justin Timberlake Division Girls 14-18, andJustin Rose Division Girls Under 13.

Colin Elias from Staten Island, NY was the first-place finisher this weekend. Elias brought in scores of 76 and 73 for a combined total of 149 for the weekend. Cox Alexander from Cresskill, NJ and Rishi Khanna from Bryn Mawr, PA were the runner ups for the weekend. Alexander had scores of 70 and 82 for a combined total of 152. Khanna finished with scores of 78 and 74 for a weekend total of 152.

Andrew Stickel from Greenwich, CT the first-place finisher this weekend. Stickel brought in scores of 78 and 77 for a combined total of 155 for the weekend. Tucker Silva from Longmeadow, MA was the runner up for the weekend with scores of 76 and 79 for a combined total of 155. Devan Patel from Madison, NJ finished the top three honors with scores of 81 and 77 for a weekend total of 158.

Harry Cohen from Wyckoff, NJ finished the top three honors with scores of 76 and 75 for a weekend total of 151.

Amber Pennington from Accord, NY and Laetitia Roegner from Greenwich, CT were the runner ups for the weekend. Pennington finished with scores of 75 and 77 for a combined total of 152. Roegner finished with scores of 78 and 74 for a weekend total of 152.

About Hurricane Junior Golf Tour

In 2017, The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour announced a partnership with Nexus, an international hospitality and entertainment company backed by financier Joe Lewis and Tavistock Group, golfing great Tiger Woods and musician and entertainer Justin Timberlake, which will further our collective goal of growing the game of golf, broadening the Tour’s reach across the U.S. and around the world.

The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour (HJGT) was founded in 2007 with the intent of providing junior golfers between the ages of 11-18, and now 10 and under, an opportunity to play exceptional courses in a competitive environment. Golfers who participate on the tour will compete in one of six age divisions: Boys 16-18, Boys 14-15, Boys 11-13, Boys U10, Girls 14-18, and Girls U13. Based out of Jacksonville, FL, the HJGT administers events all across the nation, with stops in Alabama, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Nebraska, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee and Virginia. In 2016, we have now expanded to the west coast and cover California, Texas, Arizona, Colorado, Washington, Nevada, and Oregon.
