From January 25th to the 26th, the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour held the Pinehurst Junior Open. The tournament was made up of a 36-hole format with a field of five divisions that included the Tiger Woods Division Boys 16-18, Will Smith Division Boys 14-15, Ernie Els Division Boys 11-13, Bryson DeChambeau Division Boys Under 10, Justin Timberlake Division Girls 14-18, and Justin Rose Division Girls Under 13.
Heathcliffe Kane from Albany, Bahamas was the first-place finisher this weekend. Kane brought in scores of 79 and 71 for a combined total of 150 for the weekend. Aiden Harrington from Garner, North Carolina and Todd Moyer from Cornelius, North Carolina were tied for the runner up honors for the weekend. Harrington brought in consistant scores of 76 for a weekend total of 152. Moyer brought in scores of 78 and 74 for a weekend total of 152.
Preston Worch from Rockville, Maryland was able to seal his victory by ending the weekend with scores of 77 and 81 for a combined total of 158. James Ackerman from Leawood, Kansas was the runner up with scores of 85 and 81 for a 166 weekend total. Ryan Steigerwald from Mars, Pennsylvania finished the top three honors with scores of 87 and 80 for a weekend total of 167.
Nick Werner from Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvania was the first-place finisher this weekend. Werner brought in scores of 82 and 85 with a combined score of 167. Matthew DelPizzo from Vienna, Virginia was the second-place finisher with scores of 87 and 93 for a total of 180.
Anna Claire Bridge from Raleigh, North Carolina was the top finisher with impressive scores of 80 and 81 for a 161 weekend finish. Braelyn Pippin from Waxhaw, North Carolina took home the runner up title with scores of 87 and 85 for a weekend total of 172. Maddison Snyder from Canal Winchester, Ohio rounded out the top three with scores of 97 and 92 a combined total of 189.
Honorine Nobuta Ferry from Pinehurst, North Carolina was the top finisher for the Justin Rose division with scores of 81 and 74. Her combined total for the weekend was 155 strokes. Ella June Hannant from Pikeville, North Carolina was the runner up for the weekend with scores of 84 and 79, a combined total of 163 strokes. Savannah Cagle from Olathe, Kansas rounded out the top three with scores of 99 and 96 a combined total of 195.
