From November 5-6, 2022, the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour held the Sun City Country Club. The tournament was made up of a 36-hole format with a field of Four divisions that included the Boys 16-18 Division, Boys 14-15 Division, Boys 11-13 Division, Boys Under 10 Division, Girls 14-18 Division, and Girls Under 13 Division.
Boys 16-18

Matthew Ahlgrim from Farmington, NM was the first-place finisher this weekend. Ahlgrim brought in scores of 74 and 69 for a combined total of 143 for the weekend. Bryar Moss from Parker, CO was the runner up for the weekend with scores of 76 and 74 for a combined total of 150. Zane Aiken from Parker, CO finished the top three honors with scores of 81 and 76 for a weekend total of 157.
Boys 14-15
Boys 11-13

Luke Duval from Scottsdale, AZ was the first-place finisher this weekend. Duval brought in scores of 77 and 71 for a combined total of 148 for the weekend. Apollo Lynch from Scottsdale, AZ was the runner up for the weekend with scores of 75 and 79 for a combined total of 154. James Giffen from Wes Vancouver, Canada finished the top three honors with scores of 82 and 84 for a weekend total of 166.
Girls 14-18
Girls U13

Cathrine Seder from Mesa, AZ was the first-place finisher this weekend. Seder brought in scores of 84 and 83 for a combined total of 167 for the weekend.
Boys 10 Under

Benjamin Bracke from Gilbert, AZ was the first-place finisher this weekend. Bracke brought in scores of 85 and 84 for a combined total of 169 for the weekend.

About Hurricane Junior Golf Tour
The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour (HJGT) was founded in 2007 with the intention of providing junior golfers between the ages of 8-18 an opportunity to play exceptional courses in a competitive environment. The tour’s vision is to provide superb hospitality and make every event a memorable one. With play open to both males and females, nearly every junior golfer is eligible to participate on the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour. Currently the HJGT is the largest multi-day junior golf tour in the United States hosting more 2-day nationally ranked events than any other tour. The HJGT has been able to achieve this goal by running the most professional events and providing an exceptional value to all of our players and families over the last 14 years.
Based out of Orlando, FL, the HJGT administers events all across the country. In 2021, the HJGT will conduct events in Alabama, Arizona, California, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia and Canada. Juniors will compete in 1 of 6 divisions which are: Boys 16-18, Boys 14-15, Boys 11-13, Boys under 10, Girls 14-18, and Girls Under 13. Click here to view approximate yardages for each division.
