On Saturday, June 16 – Sunday, June 17, 2018, the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour hosted the Philly Junior Open at Foxchase in Stevens, Pennsylvania. The two-day, thirty-six-hole tournament played at the Foxchase Golf Club consisted of golfers from four of our divisions, including the Tiger Woods Boys 16-18 Division, Will Smith Boys 14-15 Division, Justin Timberlake Girls 14-18 Division, and the Justin Rose Girls U13 Division.
Tiger Woods Boys 16-18
Sean Vowells of Chatham, New Jersey took home the victory in the Tiger Woods Boys 16-18 Division after finishing +7. He made 4 birdies and had the lowest scoring average in his playing field (75.5). Second-place finisher, Grant Gronka of Bloomsburg, Pennsylvania, shot 154 strokes for a +10 finish on the weekend. As for third-place, there was a tie between Tucker Morris (McKinney, TX) and Hamilton McNaughton (Lancaster, PA) as they both finished +12.
Will Smith Boys 14-15
In the Will Smith Boys 14-15 Division, Jackson Debusschere of Wallingford, Pennsylvania took home the first-place title after finishing +16. He made 1 birdie and had the lowest scoring average in the playing field (80). Second-place finisher, James Ulsh of Carlisle, Pennsylvania, shot 163 strokes and made 3 birdies through the thirty-six holes for a +19 finish. Brandon Shirk of Palmyra, Pennsylvania finished third as he shot 179 strokes to finish at +35. Debusschere, Ulsh, and Shirk tied for the lowest par 3 average, all at 3.8.

Justin Timberlake Girls 14-18
Angelina Tolentino of Mount Laurel, New Jersey, placed first in the Justin Timberlake Girls 14-18 Division as she finished +16 through thirty-six holes. She led her playing field with the lowest scoring average (80) and the most birdies (3). Second-place finisher, McKylie Boreman of New Cumberland, Pennsylvania finished at +32 with 176 strokes. Alexandra Pallozzi of Oak Ridge, New Jersey shot 192 strokes to finish the weekend at +48.
Justin Rose Girls U13
In the Justin Rose Girls U13 Division, Ellison Lundquist of Furlong, Pennsylvania captured the victory after shooting +10. She led her playing field with the lowest scoring average (77) and the most birdies (4). Sydney Yermish of Wynnewood, Pennsylvania finished +12 with 156 strokes to claim second-place. She had the lowest par 3 average of 3.1. Third-place finisher, Kiera Bartholomew of Westampton, New Jersey, finished +20.
