On Saturday April 28- Sunday April 29, 2018 The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour held the PGA National Junior Open at PGA National Golf Club- The Fazio in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. The tournament was made up of a 36-hole, two-day format and the field was made from six divisions that included the Tiger Woods Division Boys 16-18, Will Smith Division Boys 14-15, Ernie Els Division Boys 11-13, Boys Under 10 Division, Justin Timberlake Division Girls 14-18 and the Justin Rose Division Girls Under 13.
Boys 16-18

In the Tiger Woods Division Boys 16-18, Keita Okada of Tokyo, Japan finished in first place with a two-day total score of 144(69-75). Nolan Forsman of Larchmont, New York and Nicolas Quintero Macias of Veisalles tied for second place with a two-day total score of 145.
Boys 14-15

Oliver Rotermund of Steamboat Springs, Colorado finished in first place with a two-day total score of 147(75-72). Zesen Hu of Bradenton, Florida came in second place with a two-day total score of 150(74-76). Arjun Rana of Bradenton, Florida and Thompson Huthnance of Dallas Texas tied for third place with a two-day total score of 151.
Boys 11-13

In the Ernie Els Division Boys 11-13, Clayton Taylor of Inman, South Carolina finished in first place with a two-day total score of 140(71-69). Erik Plenge of Lima Peru, LI came in second place with a two-day total score of 145(74-71). Max Rotermund of Steamboat Springs, Colorado finished in third place with a two-day total score of 150(72-78).
Girls 14-18

In the Justin Timberlake Division Girls 14-18, Celeste Valinho of Jacksonville, Florida finished in first place with a two-day total score of 141(71-70). Deborah Chang of Seoul came in second place with a two-day total score of 144(72-72). Briana Gabe of Melbourne, Florida finished in third place with a two-day total score of 150(74-76).
Girls U13

Kayla Bryant of Boca Raton, Florida finished in first place in the Justin Rose Division Girls Under 13 after a sudden death playoff against Remi Bacardi of Miami, Florida. At the end of the final round Kayla and Remi were tied with a two-day total score of 155. Remi fell short in the playoff and finished in second place. Jonna Hubbs of Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, finished in third place with a two-day total score 156(79-77).
Boys 10 Under

Hampton Beebe of West Palm Beach, Florida finished in first place in the Boys Under 10 Division. Hampton finished with a two-day total score of 154(80-74). Andrew Tsar of Palm Beach Gardens, Florida came in second place with a two-day total score of 163(77-86). Santiago Navarro of Caracas, Florida finished in third place with a two-day total score of 166(81-85).

In 2017, The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour announced a partnership with Nexus, an international hospitality and entertainment company backed by financier Joe Lewis and Tavistock Group, golfing great Tiger Woods and musician and entertainer Justin Timberlake, which will further our collective goal of growing the game of golf, broadening the Tour’s reach across the U.S. and around the world.
The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour (HJGT) was founded in 2007 with the intent of providing junior golfers between the ages of 11-18, and now 10 and under, an opportunity to play exceptional courses in a competitive environment. Golfers who participate on the tour will compete in one of six age divisions: Boys 16-18, Boys 14-15, Boys 11-13, Boys U10, Girls 14-18, and Girls U13. Based out of Jacksonville, FL, the HJGT administers events all across the nation, with stops in Alabama, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Nebraska, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee and Virginia. In 2016, we have now expanded to the west coast and cover California, Texas, Arizona, Colorado, Washington, Nevada, and Oregon.
