From December 26-27, 2020, the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour held the PGA National Holiday Open. The tournament was made up of a 36-hole format with a field of six divisions that included the Boys 16-18, Boys 14-15, Boys 11-13, Boys Under 10, Girls 14-18, and Girls Under 13.
Boys 16-18

Grant Puckett from Clay, KY was the first-place finisher this weekend. Puckett brought in scores of 76 and 73 for a combined total of 149 for the weekend. Devan Chahal from Parkland, FL was the runner up for the weekend with scores of 73 and 78 for a combined total of 151 . Juney Bai from Mokena, IL finished the top three honors with scores of 75 and 77 for a weekend total of 152.
Boys 14-15

Michael Feldman from Delray Beach, FL was the first-place finisher this weekend. Feldman brought in consistant scores of 82 for a combined total of 164 for the weekend. Harry Bonomo from Greenwhich, CT was the runner up for the weekend with scores of 83 and 82 for a combined total of 165. Alex Finger from Highland Park, IL and Luke Wise from Palm Beach Gardens, FL tied for the top three honors. Finger brought in scores of 86 and 81 for a final total of 167. Wise finished with scores of 79 and 88 for a weekend total of 167.
Boys 11-13

Jack Chung from Greenwich, CT was the first-place finisher this weekend. Chung brought in scores of 73 and 75 for a combined total of 148 for the weekend. Kevin Wesolowski from Hickory Hills, IL was the runner up for the weekend with scores of 81 and 67 for a combined total of 148. Jack Borg from Bethesda, MD finished the top three honors with scores of 77 and 73 for a weekend total of 150.
Girls 14-18

Ella Overstreet from Jackson, MO was the first-place finisher this weekend. Overstreet brought in scores of 79 and 76 for a combined total of 155 for the weekend. Kelly Shanahan from Coral Springs, FL was the runner up for the weekend with scores of 80 and 76 for a combined total of 156. Gabriella Gomez from Miami, FL finished the top three honors with scores of 82 and 76 for a weekend total of 158.
Girls U13
Sofia Cherif Essakali from Miami, FL was the first-place finisher this weekend. Cherif Essakali brought in scores of 75 and 77 for a combined total of 152 for the weekend. Rayee B. Feng from Short Hills, NJ was the runner up for the weekend with scores of 78 and 80 for a combined total of 158. Angela Jiang from Miami, FL finished the top three honors with scores of 84 and 78 for a weekend total of 162.
Boys 10 Under

Matthew Marigliano from Basking Ridge, NJ was the first-place finisher this weekend. Marigliano brought in scores of 72 and 74 for a combined total of 146 for the weekend. Axel Monssoh from Miami, FL was the runner up for the weekend with scores of 82 and 69 for a combined total of 151. Jerry Guo from Scarsdale, NY finished the top three honors with scores of 80 and 74 for a weekend total of 154.

About Hurricane Junior Golf Tour
In 2017, The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour announced a partnership with Nexus, an international hospitality and entertainment company backed by financier Joe Lewis and Tavistock Group, golfing great Tiger Woods and musician and entertainer Justin Timberlake, which will further our collective goal of growing the game of golf, broadening the Tour’s reach across the U.S. and around the world.
The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour (HJGT) was founded in 2007 with the intent of providing junior golfers between the ages of 11-18, and now 10 and under, an opportunity to play exceptional courses in a competitive environment. Golfers who participate on the tour will compete in one of six age divisions: Boys 16-18, Boys 14-15, Boys 11-13, Boys U10, Girls 14-18, and Girls U13. Based out of Jacksonville, FL, the HJGT administers events all across the nation, with stops in Alabama, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Nebraska, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee and Virginia. In 2016, we have now expanded to the west coast and cover California, Texas, Arizona, Colorado, Washington, Nevada, and Oregon.
