From September 12-13, the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour held the PGA National Fall Junior Open. The tournament was made up of a 36-hole format with a field of four divisions that included the Tiger Woods Division Boys 16-18, Will Smith Division Boys 14-15, Ernie Els Division Boys 11-13, Bryson DeChambeau Division Boys Under 10, and Justin Timberlake Division Girls 14-18.
Boys 16-18

Sam Karman from Melbourne, FL was the first-place finisher this weekend. Karman brought in scores of 73 and 76 for a combined total of 149 for the weekend. Sean Dully from Palm Beach Gardens, FL was the runner up for the weekend with scores of 78 and 72 for a combined total of 150. Jaden Russell from Miami, FL finished the top three honors with scores of 78 and 76 for a weekend total of 154.
Boys 14-15

Kelvin Hernandez from Gurabo, Puerto Rico was the first-place finisher this weekend. Hernandez brought in scores of 76 and 75 for a combined total of 151 for the weekend. Harrison DeLisle from Miami Beach, FL was the runner up for the weekend with scores of 80 and 81 for a combined total of 161. Diego Azar from London, United Kingdom finished the top three honors with scores of 83 and 84 for a weekend total of 167.
Boys 11-13

Tristan Rhodenizer from Palm Beach Gardens, FL was the first-place finisher this weekend. Rhodenizer brought in scores of 80 and 74 for a combined total of 154 for the weekend. Jake Valentine from West Palm Beach, FL was the runner up for the weekend with scores of 78 and 76 for a combined total of 154. Jonathan Weinberg from New York, NY finished the top three honors with scores of 86 and 77 for a weekend total of 163.
Girls 14-18

Katie Cranston from Oakville, Canada was the first-place finisher this weekend. Cranston brought in scores of 78 and 74 for a combined total of 152 for the weekend. Gabriella DeGasperis from Jupiter, FL and Kiley Malmberg from Jupiter, FL both were the runners up for the weekend. DeGasperis had scores of 77 and 77 for a combined total of 154. Malmberg finished with scores of 80 and 74 for a weekend total of 154.
Girls U13
Boys 10 Under

Carson Lowe from West Palm Beach, FL was the first-place finisher this weekend. Lowe brought in scores of 87 and 81 for a combined total of 168 for the weekend. Shane Frasure from Clermont, FL was the runner up for the weekend with scores of 89 and 83 for a combined total of 172. Danilo Custer from North Palm Beach, FL finished the top three honors with scores of 94 and 88 for a weekend total of 182.

In 2017, The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour announced a partnership with Nexus, an international hospitality and entertainment company backed by financier Joe Lewis and Tavistock Group, golfing great Tiger Woods and musician and entertainer Justin Timberlake, which will further our collective goal of growing the game of golf, broadening the Tour’s reach across the U.S. and around the world.
The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour (HJGT) was founded in 2007 with the intent of providing junior golfers between the ages of 11-18, and now 10 and under, an opportunity to play exceptional courses in a competitive environment. Golfers who participate on the tour will compete in one of six age divisions: Boys 16-18, Boys 14-15, Boys 11-13, Boys U10, Girls 14-18, and Girls U13. Based out of Jacksonville, FL, the HJGT administers events all across the nation, with stops in Alabama, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Nebraska, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee and Virginia. In 2016, we have now expanded to the west coast and cover California, Texas, Arizona, Colorado, Washington, Nevada, and Oregon.
