Orlando Fall Junior Open

From October 30-31, 2021, the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour held the Orlando Fall Junior Open. The tournament was made up of a 36-hole format with a field of six divisions that included the Boys 16-18 Division, Boys 14-15 Division, Boys 11-13 Division, Boys Under 10 Division, Girls 14-18 Division, and Girls Under 13 Division.

Boys 16-18

Orlando Fall Junior Open

Gaspar Glaudas from Sainte-Tulle, France was the first-place finisher this weekend. Glaudas brought in scores of 69 and 71 for a weekend total of 140. Andrew Gwilliams from Bradford, Canada was the runner up for the weekend with scores of 72 and 69 for a total of 141. Corey Edgar from Wesley Chapel, FL and Reggie Zhu from Winter Garden, FL tied for the top three honors for the weekend. Edgar brought in scores of 71 and 71 for a weekend total of 142. Zhu finished with scores of 73 and 69 for a combined total of 142.

Rayan Benqlilou from Bradenton, FL was the first-place finisher this weekend. Benqlilou brought in scores of 73 and 70 for a weekend total of 143. Jizhou Tian from Lake Mary, FL was the runner up for the weekend with scores of 74 and 72 for a total of 146. Elisey Antropenko from Moscow, Russia and Mingbo Jiang form Hangzhou, China tied for the top three honors for the weekend. Antropenko brought in scores of 74 and 73 for a weekend total of 147. Mingbo finished with scores of 77 and 70 for a combined total of 147.

Jordan Paulshock from Wesley Chapel, FL was the runner up for the weekend with scores of 79 and 81 for a total of 160. Avery Liu from Windermere, FL finished the top three honors with scores of 87 and 79 for a weekend total of 166.

Miriam Barcalova from Boynton Beach, FL was the first-place finisher this weekend. Barcalova brought in scores of 70 and 70 for a total of 140 for the weekend. Meera Minhas from Burnaby, Canada and Yaya Sadamoto from Wesley Chapel, FL both tied for the runner up honors for the weekend. Minhas brought in scores of 72 both days for a final score of 144. Sadamoto finished with scores of 76 and an impressive 68 to finish the weekend with a 144 total.

About Hurricane Junior Golf Tour

The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour (HJGT) was founded in 2007 with the intention of providing junior golfers between the ages of 8-18 an opportunity to play exceptional courses in a competitive environment. The tour’s vision is to provide superb hospitality and make every event a memorable one. With play open to both males and females, nearly every junior golfer is eligible to participate on the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour. Currently the HJGT is the largest multi-day junior golf tour in the United States hosting more 2-day nationally ranked events than any other tour. The HJGT has been able to achieve this goal by running the most professional events and providing an exceptional value to all of our players and families over the last 14 years.

Based out of Orlando, FL, the HJGT administers events all across the country. In 2021, the HJGT will conduct events in Alabama, Arizona, California, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia and Canada. Juniors will compete in 1 of 6 divisions which are: Boys 16-18, Boys 14-15, Boys 11-13, Boys under 10, Girls 14-18, and Girls Under 13. Click here to view approximate yardages for each division.
