From October 3-4, the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour held the Orlando Academy Cup Finale. The tournament was made up of a 36-hole format with a field of six divisions that included the Tiger Woods Division Boys 16-18, Will Smith Division Boys 14-15, Ernie Els Division Boys 11-13, Bryson DeChambeau Division Boys Under 10, Justin Timberlake Division Girls 14-18, and Justin Rose Division Girls Under 13.
Boys 16-18

Sebastiano Mascia from Hernan Rey was the first-place finisher this weekend. Mascia brought in scores of 73 and 71 for a combined total of 144 for the weekend. Keoni Martin and Nils Nottebohm from Saddlebrook Prep were the runners up for the weekend. Martin with scores of 70 and 75 for a combined total of 145. Nottebohm finished with scores of 74 and 71 for a weekend total of 145.
Boys 14-15

Lev Grinberg from Mike Bender was the first-place finisher this weekend. Grinberg brought in scores of 74 and 73 for a combined total of 147 for the weekend. Diego Azar was the runner up for the weekend with scores of 74 and 74 for a combined total of 148. Sebastian Navarro from Hernan Rey finished the top three honors with scores of 81 and 70 for a weekend total of 151.
Boys 11-13

Zi Ang (Josiah) Wang was the first-place finisher this weekend. Wang brought in scores of 75 and 77 for a combined total of 152 for the weekend. Yaohang Zhu was the runner up for the weekend with scores of 78 and 82 for a combined total of 160. Santiaho Navarro from Hernan Rey finished the top three honors with scores of 83 and 79 for a weekend total of 162.
Girls 14-18

Mckenzie Mages from Mike Bender was the first-place finisher this weekend. Mages brought in scores of 69 and 73 for a combined total of 142 for the weekend. Sophie Anand from Albany Academy was the runner up for the weekend with scores of 73 and 73 for a combined total of 146. Holly McLean from Albany Academy finished the top three honors with scores of 70 and 78 for a weekend total of 148.
Girls U13

Honorine Nobuta Ferry was the first-place finisher this weekend. Nobuta Ferry brought in scores of 73 and 74 for a total of 147. Mata King from Mike Bender was the runner up for the weekend with scores of 70 and 82 for a combined total of 152. Grace Carter finished the top three honors with scores of 80 and 81 for a weekend total of 161.
Boys 10 Under

Herry White from Albany Academy was the first-place finisher this weekend. White brought in scores of 113 and 109 for a combined total of 222 for the weekend.

About Hurricane Junior Golf Tour
In 2017, The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour announced a partnership with Nexus, an international hospitality and entertainment company backed by financier Joe Lewis and Tavistock Group, golfing great Tiger Woods and musician and entertainer Justin Timberlake, which will further our collective goal of growing the game of golf, broadening the Tour’s reach across the U.S. and around the world.
The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour (HJGT) was founded in 2007 with the intent of providing junior golfers between the ages of 11-18, and now 10 and under, an opportunity to play exceptional courses in a competitive environment. Golfers who participate on the tour will compete in one of six age divisions: Boys 16-18, Boys 14-15, Boys 11-13, Boys U10, Girls 14-18, and Girls U13. Based out of Jacksonville, FL, the HJGT administers events all across the nation, with stops in Alabama, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Nebraska, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee and Virginia. In 2016, we have now expanded to the west coast and cover California, Texas, Arizona, Colorado, Washington, Nevada, and Oregon.
