Northeast Regional Invintational Presented by Vessel

From October 12th to the 13th, the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour held the Northeasr Regional Invintational. The tournament was made up of a 36-hole format with a field of five divisions, that included the Tiger Woods Division Boys 16-18, Will Smith Division Boys 14-15, Ernie Els Division Boys 11-13 Justin Timberlake Division Girls 14-18 and Justin Rose Division girls under 13.

Aiden Spampinato, fromvictor, Ny was the first-place finisher this weekend. Spampinato brought in scores of 72 and 75 for a combined total of 147 for the weekend. Ian WagnerfromMedina, NY was the runner up for the weekend with scores of 74and 73 for a combined total of 147. It took two playoff holes for the winner to be decided, where Aiden eventually took it.  Tyler Thomas from Corning, NY finished the top three honors with scores of 72 and 77 for a weekend total of 149.

Boys 14-15

Aiden LeBlanc, fromMacungie, PA, was able to seal his victory by ending the weekend with scores of 76 and 73 a combined total of 149. Punn Chittaratlert, from Jamesville, NYwas the runner up with scores of 74 and 79 for a 153 weekend total. Elias Kennon, from Old Greenwich, CT and Nolan Nicklas, from Cranberry Township, PA tied to round out the top three honors with a weekend total of 154.

Holden Schipper, from Lebanon NJ, was able to seal tbe victory this weekend by ending the weekend with scores of 75 and 76 for a combined total of 151. Colby Baran from Wading River, NY, was able to claim second place with scores of, 76 and 76 for a combined total of 152. Rounding out the top three in this division was, Matthew Vital from Bethlem, PA, shot scores of 75 and 78 for a combined total of 153.

Northeast Regional Invintational Presented by Vessel

Kiera Bartholomew from Westampton, NJ was able to claim the top spot for this weekend tournament she shot rounds of 74 and 74 for a combined total of 148. Claire Yioulos from Honeoye Falls, NY shot rounds of 77 and 77 for a combined total of 154 to capture the second place spot. Then rounding out the top three in this group was Maryanne Grace from Rye, NY she was able to shoot rounds of 80 and 75 for a combined total of 155.

Lily Zhang from Buffalo, NYwas able to claim first place., she shot rounds of 75 and 76 for a combined 151. Hannah Rabb from Watsontown, PA was able to shoot rounds of 77 and 80 for a total combined score of 157. Rounding out the top three in this group from North Reading, MA is Isabel Brozena who shot rounds of 84 and 78 for a combined total 162.

About Hurricane Junior Golf Tour

The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour (HJGT) was founded in 2007 with the intention of providing junior golfers between the ages of 8-18 an opportunity to play exceptional courses in a competitive environment. The tour’s vision is to provide superb hospitality and make every event a memorable one. With play open to both males and females, nearly every junior golfer is eligible to participate on the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour. Currently the HJGT is the largest multi-day junior golf tour in the United States hosting more 2-day nationally ranked events than any other tour. The HJGT has been able to achieve this goal by running the most professional events and providing an exceptional value to all of our players and families over the last 14 years.

Based out of Orlando, FL, the HJGT administers events all across the country. In 2021, the HJGT will conduct events in Alabama, Arizona, California, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia and Canada. Juniors will compete in 1 of 6 divisions which are: Boys 16-18, Boys 14-15, Boys 11-13, Boys under 10, Girls 14-18, and Girls Under 13. Click here to view approximate yardages for each division. The HJGT season is based on a calendar year and players earn points throughout the season towards year end honors beginning December 31, 2021.
