From October 31- November 1, the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour held the North Jersey Fall Junior Open. The tournament was made up of a 36-hole format with a field of five divisions that included the Tiger Woods Division Boys 16-18, Will Smith Division Boys 14-15, Ernie Els Division Boys 11-13, Bryson DeChambeau Division Boys Under 10, and the Justin Timberlake Division Girls 14-18.
Boys 16-18

Will Campbell from Yarmouth, MA was the first-place finisher this weekend. Campbell brought in scores of 71 and 71 for a combined total of 142 for the weekend. Shawn Colella from Marcellus, NY was the runner up for the weekend with scores of 71 and 75 for a combined total of 146. Zachary Loninger from Vrosswicks, NJ finished the top three honors with scores of 71 and 76 for a weekend total of 147.
Boys 14-15

Matthew DiFiore from Malverne, NY was the first-place finisher this weekend. DiFiore brought in scores of 72 and 72 for a combined total of 144 for the weekend. Tyler Vitolo from Greenwich, CT was the runner up for the weekend with scores of 75 and 76 for a combined total of 151. Nicholas Blunt from Stewartsville, NJ finished the top three honors with scores of 79 and 77 for a weekend total of 156.
Boys 11-13

Matthew Lu from Basking Ridge, NJ was the first-place finisher this weekend. LU brought in scores of 81 and 75 for a combined total of 156 for the weekend. Dominick Beck from Randolph, NJ was the runner up for the weekend with scores of 84 and 82 for a combined total of 166. Noah Hu from New York City, NY and Tong Si from Millburn, NJ both finished in the top three honors. Hu finished with scores of 84 and 85 for a weekend total of 169. Si finished with 82 and 87 for a total of 169.
Girls 14-18
Cc Kaplan from Riverside, CT was the first-place finisher this weekend. Kaplan brought in scores of 80 and 82for a combined total of 162 for the weekend. Sydney Dweck from Darien, CT was the runner up for the weekend with scores of 83 and 79 for a combined total of 162. Taylor Sieg from Summit, NJ finished the top three honors with scores of 80 and 84 for a weekend total of 164.
Girls U13
Boys 10 Under

Braydon Hutwagner from Prospect, CT was the first-place finisher this weekend. Hutwagner brought in scores of 79 and 82 for a combined total of 161 for the weekend. Ryan Mascali from Rye, NY was the runner up for the weekend with scores of 84 and 80 for a combined total of 164. Anthony Wu from Short Hills, NJ finished the top three honors with scores of 81 and 84 for a weekend total 165.

In 2017, The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour announced a partnership with Nexus, an international hospitality and entertainment company backed by financier Joe Lewis and Tavistock Group, golfing great Tiger Woods and musician and entertainer Justin Timberlake, which will further our collective goal of growing the game of golf, broadening the Tour’s reach across the U.S. and around the world.
The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour (HJGT) was founded in 2007 with the intent of providing junior golfers between the ages of 11-18, and now 10 and under, an opportunity to play exceptional courses in a competitive environment. Golfers who participate on the tour will compete in one of six age divisions: Boys 16-18, Boys 14-15, Boys 11-13, Boys U10, Girls 14-18, and Girls U13. Based out of Jacksonville, FL, the HJGT administers events all across the nation, with stops in Alabama, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Nebraska, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee and Virginia. In 2016, we have now expanded to the west coast and cover California, Texas, Arizona, Colorado, Washington, Nevada, and Oregon.
