From Saturday, February 9 - Sunday, February 10, 2019, The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour held the North Florida Junior Open at Eagle Harbor Golf Club in Orange Park, FL. The tournament was made up of a 36-hole, two-day format and the field was made up of four divisions that included the Tiger Woods Boys 16-18, Will Smith Boys 14-15, Justin Timberlake Girls 14-18, and the Justin Rose Girls 13 and Under Division. Boys 16-18

Jonathan Greco of Ponte Vedra Beach, FL and Sam Barton of Center Tuftonboro, NH did not disappoint in the Tiger Woods Division, as they both earned the first-place trophy with a total of 150 strokes. This went into a sudden-death playoff, where Greco ended up on top. Just two strokes behind the first-place finishers was Tommy Lamb of Cary, NC with 152 strokes.
Boys 14-15

The number one spot in the Will Smith Division went to Yi Dong Wang of Foshan, China who finished out the weekend with 160 strokes. Just two shots shy of Wang was second-place finisher Valdemar Hundeboll of North Berwick, Scotland with 162 strokes. Rounding out the division was Zach Boorom of Jackson, MI with 170 strokes.
Boys 11-13
Girls 14-18

Leading off the Justin Timberlake Division was Katharina Hesse of Bremen, Germany with a two-day total of 150 strokes. Celeste Valinho of Jacksonville, FL earned second place with 154 strokes. Camille Jackson of Keystone Heights, FL rounded out the podium with 158 strokes.
Girls U13

The Justin Rose Division was no match for Carlee Meilleur of Lansdowne, Canada. She finished at the top with a grand total of 164 strokes.

About Hurricane Junior Golf Tour
In 2017, The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour announced a partnership with Nexus, an international hospitality and entertainment company backed by financier Joe Lewis and Tavistock Group, golfing great Tiger Woods and musician and entertainer Justin Timberlake, which will further our collective goal of growing the game of golf, broadening the Tour’s reach across the U.S. and around the world.
The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour (HJGT) was founded in 2007 with the intent of providing junior golfers between the ages of 11-18, and now 10 and under, an opportunity to play exceptional courses in a competitive environment. Golfers who participate on the tour will compete in one of six age divisions: Boys 16-18, Boys 14-15, Boys 11-13, Boys U10, Girls 14-18, and Girls U13. Based out of Jacksonville, FL, the HJGT administers events all across the nation, with stops in Alabama, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Nebraska, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee and Virginia. In 2016, we have now expanded to the west coast and cover California, Texas, Arizona, Colorado, Washington, Nevada, and Oregon.
