New York Fall Junior Open

From September 5-6, the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour held the New York Fall Junior Open. The tournament was made up of a 36-hole format with a field of six divisions that included the Tiger Woods Division Boys 16-18, Will Smith Division Boys 14-15, Ernie Els Division Boys 11-13, Bryson DeChambeau Division Boys Under 10,  Justin Timberlake Division Girls 14-18, and Justin Rose Division Girls Under 13.

New York Fall Junior Open

Roy Anderson from Chadds Ford, PA was first-place finisher this weekend. Anderson brought in scores of 72 and 74 with a total of 146. Zachary Loninger from Crosswicks, NJ was the runner up for the weekend with scores of 72 and 74 for a combined total of 146. Freddie Curtis from Harvard, MA finished the top three honors with scores of 72 and 75 for a weekend total of 147.

Cole Banning from Tolland, CT was the first-place finisher this weekend. Banning brought in scores of 74 and 75 for a combined total of 149 for the weekend. Eli Kaufman from Montville, NJ was the runner up for the weekend with scores of 76 and 75 for a combined total of 151. Angad Manaise from Stamford, CT and CJ Merritt from Plainview, NY finished the top three honors. Manaise with scores of 83 and 72 for a weekend total of 155. Merritt had scores of 77 and 78 with a total of 155.

Holden Schipper from Lebanon, NJ was the first-place finisher this weekend. Schipper brought in scores of 71 and 78 for a combined total of 149 for the weekend. Matthew LU from Basking Ridge, NJ was the runner up for the weekend with scores of 81 and 74 for a combined total of 155. Broden Douglas from Northport, NY finished the top three honors with scores of 80 and 78 for a weekend total of 158.

Natalie Spiska from Jersey City, NJ was the first-place finisher this weekend. Spiska brought in scores of 80 and 79 for a combined total of 159 for the weekend. Ava O’Sullivan from Exton, PA was the runner up for the weekend with scores of 79 and 80 for a combined total of 159. Lydia Welborn from Stamford, CT finished the top three honors with scores of 79 and 82 for a weekend total of 161.

Samantha Loninger from Crosswicks, NJ was the first-place finisher this weekend. Loninger brought in scores of 77 and 84 for a combined total of 161 for the weekend. Lia Huang from Great Neck, NY finished the top three honors with scores of 86 and 90 for a weekend total of 176.

About Hurricane Junior Golf Tour

In 2017, The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour announced a partnership with Nexus, an international hospitality and entertainment company backed by financier Joe Lewis and Tavistock Group, golfing great Tiger Woods and musician and entertainer Justin Timberlake, which will further our collective goal of growing the game of golf, broadening the Tour’s reach across the U.S. and around the world.

The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour (HJGT) was founded in 2007 with the intent of providing junior golfers between the ages of 11-18, and now 10 and under, an opportunity to play exceptional courses in a competitive environment. Golfers who participate on the tour will compete in one of six age divisions: Boys 16-18, Boys 14-15, Boys 11-13, Boys U10, Girls 14-18, and Girls U13. Based out of Jacksonville, FL, the HJGT administers events all across the nation, with stops in Alabama, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Nebraska, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee and Virginia. In 2016, we have now expanded to the west coast and cover California, Texas, Arizona, Colorado, Washington, Nevada, and Oregon.
