From September 4-5, 2021, the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour held the New York Fall Junior Open. The tournament was made up of a 36-hole format with a field of six divisions that included the Boys 16-18 Division, Boys 14-15 Division, Boys 11-13 Division, Boys Under 10 Division, Girls 14-18 Division, and Girls Under 13 Division.
Boys 16-18

Matteo Santulin from Riverside, CT was the first-place finisher this weekend. Santilin brought in scores of 73 and 74 for a combined total of 147 for the weekend. Tim Ben Adi from Garrison, NY was the runner up for the weekend with scores of 76 and 75 for a combined total of 151. Jake Portugal from Ridgefield, CT finished with the top three honors. Portugal finished with scores of 78 and 75 for a weekend total of 153.
Boys 14-15

YiWen Wang from Scarsdale, NY was the first-place finisher this weekend. Wang brought in scores of 70 and 68 for a combined total of 138 for the weekend. Eli Kaufman from Montville, NJ was the runner up for the weekend with scores of 75 and 73 for a combined total of 148. Reed Ghriskey from Darien, CT finished with the top three honors this weekend. Ghriskey brought in scores of 85 and 76 for a weekend total of 161.
Boys 11-13

Quinn Egan from White Plains, NY was the first-place finisher this weekend. Egan brought in scores of 77 and 81 for a combined total of 158 for the weekend. Dylan Kaufman from Montville, NJ was the runner up for the weekend with scores of 83 and 89 for a combined total of 172. Myles Cooper from Rye, NY finished the top three honors this weekend. Cooper brought in scores of 93 and 91 for a weekend total of 184.
Girls 14-18

Yvette O’Brien from Grennwich, CT was the first-place finisher this weekend. O’Brien brought in scores of 78 and 71 for a combined total of 149 for the weekend. Yuki Yurun, Zhu from Shanghai, China was the runner up for the weekend with scores of 77 and 74 for a combined total of 151. Victoria Leach from Clarence Center, NY finished the top three honors with scores of 78 and 77 for a weekend total of 155.
Girls U13

Ciana Tzuo from New York, NY was the first-place finisher this weekend. Tzuo brought in scores of 88 and 93 for a combined total of 181 for the weekend.
Boys 10 Under

Crosby Ghriskey from Darien, CT was the first-place finished this weekend. Ghriskey brought in scores of 96 and 92 for a combined total of 188. Charlie Kaufman from Montville, NJ was the runner up this weekend. Kaufman finished the weekend with score of 91 and 98 for a total of 189 for the weekend. Blake Zere from Romkonkoma, NY finished with the top three honors with scores of 98 and 102 for a combined 200.

About Hurricane Junior Golf Tour
The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour (HJGT) was founded in 2007 with the intention of providing junior golfers between the ages of 8-18 an opportunity to play exceptional courses in a competitive environment. The tour’s vision is to provide superb hospitality and make every event a memorable one. With play open to both males and females, nearly every junior golfer is eligible to participate on the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour. Currently the HJGT is the largest multi-day junior golf tour in the United States hosting more 2-day nationally ranked events than any other tour. The HJGT has been able to achieve this goal by running the most professional events and providing an exceptional value to all of our players and families over the last 14 years.
Based out of Orlando, FL, the HJGT administers events all across the country. In 2021, the HJGT will conduct events in Alabama, Arizona, California, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia and Canada. Juniors will compete in 1 of 6 divisions which are: Boys 16-18, Boys 14-15, Boys 11-13, Boys under 10, Girls 14-18, and Girls Under 13. Click here to view approximate yardages for each division.
